Recently purchased a worktop in May, that was just installed yesterday.

One this that I must make really clear is that the oiling service seems to be a waste of money! Upon enquiring (after seeing the worktop for the first time put the wrapper) the worktop comes oiled to protect it to the point of install, and is NOT an oil for use. I don't think the pre oil is necessary at all as its wrapped in multiple layers of cellophane. Also, I don't feel like this was made especially clear, and in my opinion (ive oiled a fair few worktops) there is not three coats of oil on the worktop anyway.

Good quality wood, but I wouldn't pay for the oiling service. Might as well just oil it yourself when it goes in!

I gave them three stars purely for the oil debacle. The wood is good quality, no complaints about the actual product or delivery service.

I ordered worktops online, their service is fantastic, their cutting service is just awesome. Worktops arrived quickly, well packaged, the delivery men were very polite. I think that they are very cheap as well. For the same price I would get worktops somewhere else, but without cutting. Here I got a special radius corner, professional edging and worktops had been cut to size. Everything done perfectly. This shop is highly recommended!

I am extremely disappointed with Worktop Express customer service. Ordered worktops and a sink for a kitchen refit. Arrived 3 weeks post order. Went to fit in January and the sink waste with my booked fitters, and the 40mm waste pipe adapter would not fit the screw thread, when my plumber tried, it did three turns and then is slips off the thread. This happened on both sink waste pipe fittings so the sink leaks.

I informed Worktop Express of the issue in the 9th Jan - I heard back that this was a third party product and they would have to contact the supplier. No advise was given then until the 20th Jan over 10 days.

Obviously I was without a sink and water as well as incurring costs for extra fittings and replacement valves and pipes to test the issue. I heard nothing from WE and with fitters waiting and re-booked (at my extra cost) I had to instruct them to make do as I could delay my kitchen completion based on WE.

Today WE have said its not their problem and they are not will to provide an adequate compensation for inconvenience, costs incurred or the fact they sold me a product that wasn't fit for purpose.

My plumber said its probably made in China and therefore cheap materials that I am likely to have ongoing issues with.

I wouldn't recommend WE for any sink products or third party products. Buy direct so you can reach someone and get the help you need.

I am very disappointed at how they have communicated and handle the issue and of course out of pocket.

Ordered 4m worktop arrived quickly with upstand. Difficult to cut without damaging top and would be better if edging strip was the same thickness as workshop but all in all good quality & speedy delivery

Excellent and precise cutting service. I ordered one bespoke polar cut worktop for my diy breakfast table. From sales team to delivery all staff are friendly and amazing. The polar cut was precise. I was very satisfied with worktop express service.

stumbled across this company while looking for a specific worktop, and after reading the many reviews gave them a shot...
I can't rate these guy's high enough! Their customer service is outstanding, their cutting service is fantastic, and their delivery service again it superb. We were notified before dispatch, and called on the day to confirm they were half an hour away.... all items were very well packed, and the quality is fantastic.
Will definitely recommend and more than happy to use again .

I recently went to the Gloucester branch to buy a custom-made Zebrano top for a sit-stand desk. The staff were great, making sure the order was completely correct. The confirmation diagram was emailed quickly and the piece was delivered on the day they promised by two helpful guys. The top is fantastic, without a flaw and combined with a Fully-Jarvis frame will be a valued piece of furniture for years to come.

I have no complaints and only praise for the service I received. Designing my own bespoke desktop to fit into a corner space on a rising frame was a bit of a challenge for me. After several measurements, drawings, emails and discussion on the angled cut and direction of staves (to ensure to two pieces were aligned and fit into my limited space), I finished with a diagram of exactly what I wanted.

Delivery was bang on time with plenty of communication regarding actual time on the day.

Then, the moment of truth. The pieces bolted together perfectly, staves all in the same direction and the whole thing looks really neat.

Thank you worktop Express for a quality product and Jessica's patience with me chopping and changing to ensure the most accurate fit.
