Great experience except for the store manager, less than helpful, passive aggressive and unattentive. The rest of the staff have always been so helpful. I now know to avoid any contact with him or with staff when he is nearby.

Tried asking for an advice what is the difference between screw types on the shelf and this staff didn’t want to speak to me first. When he spoke he said he was not the expert and was ignoring me. Absolutely poor service. Wickes needs to train staffs to speak to customer politely even if they don’t know the answer to the questions.

Well stocked store and friendly staff but beware that the prices can be higher than the prices shown on the shelves. In most other stores they would acknowledge their mistake and honour the shelf price but not in Wickes, the "system" price rules. The item shown in the photo is £20 on their "system".

I don’t often share negative reviews, but I have no clue what happened in this store today. I came to collect a click and collect order, left and when I was emptying my car I realised they had given me the wrong order. While it was a similar product, clearly no care was taken to check the items. Annoyed, I returned to the store - there was one poor bloke on the tills and it took over 15 minutes for someone to come help me. This gentleman was so ridiculously disengaged and it eluded to one of the worst customer services I’ve received. No accountability, it seemed like he was doing me a favour when the store buggered up the order to begin with. I was told to just go get the correct items - which I explained were not there, took him going to see to believe me. All the while - I’m the one inconvenienced for something so bloody simple as 3 rolls of weed membrane. I continued to wait, a lack of staff around to help others - this guy seemed to have a little rant about that as he went to collect my items. He seemed to cheer up slightly when he got me the correct ones, and then said sorry. I didn’t understand the payment process as he hadn’t explained the process properly so felt confused as to why I received a refund email. Was told to just pay in store.
Essentially - the entire concept of click and collect failed in this instance, and I was met with a clearly very unhappy staff member. My suggestion is that the store takes some priority in training your staff in customer service, the next person may not be as understanding. Put a smile on your dial and keep any cr*p behind closed doors!! Retail 101 Wickes.

Spent some time in store looking at various products, pricing up a project etc, there is a snack wagon outside that I also got some lunch while I was there.
Didn't realise how long I had been there until 14 days later when I received a PCN through the door for a £100 no reduction for prompt payment either and payable within 28 days from the offence!!
90 mins free parking as stated on the PCN, I was there for 111 mins.

Great variety of paint at good deals, staff were fantastic & helpful especially the young guy who stopped a bloke trying to push in to get served after we were all waiting patiently for another toll to be opened. Got what I went in for so happy customer here

I experienced excellent customer service today but the Wicked team and In particular Chris. I had my son and I needed assistance with the bags of sand to my car and Chris even loaded the car for me!
