Really disappointing service. Desperately trying to get a project over the line this weekend, we have ordered a length of worktop with click and collect, should have been ready within 30mins of ordering, however we received a call to say that was not possible as no forklift driver at work. Fair enough these things happen (although you'd think this was an important role to have cover for on a Saturday for this kind of business). Now it's Sunday morning and we need to get things finished and unfortunately I'm told there's still no way to hold of this worktop until the late afternoon - which is too late.

People choose physical shops because they want to obtain the item there and then. I could've spent less money waiting for an online merchant to deliver this to me on Monday if I wanted the project to drag on into the week. I will avoid click and collect items from here in future.

Super helpful staff. I had travelled a good distance (don't have wickes where I live) and had an issue accessing one of the items I wanted. The staff quickly sorted an alternative so it wasn't a wasted trip.

Twice we've had discussions with the man on kitchens & bathrooms in this store, and twice he's been unhelpful, negative, and patronising, not once did he offer any compromise to what we wanted or could actually have in our kitchen and bathroom refit, we wanted a chest height oven, he said no as the distance wasn't enough between the hob and oven, when he left I checked and it was 1mm short, all that was needed was to be careful which size or type of hob we purchased, or move the hob by 1mm, so we've purchased elsewhere with staff that do all they can to meet your requirements, and a bathroom refit here starts at £10,000 before you've even looked for a new loo, sink, shower, and tiling, ridiculous price when most houses don't have bathrooms the size of castles, he was also adamant we needed a full length shower when I wanted to gain some space at the end of the shower, we had stood in the shower at Wickes measuring 1200x800 and decided that was the one for us, but no he didn't ask he jumped to replacing a full length bath with a wall-wall shower, he then questioned why we wanted to gain more floor space, and I felt pressured to explain my dislike of rainfall showers, when we wanted just a normal head thermostatic shower, he came to our home to quote us for what we required we thought, not for what would cost more, or was more on trend, or easier for Wickes fitters, awful experience which I wasn't surprised by as he'd previously been patronising 2 years before when we'd asked for information on fitting.

It's a smaller wickes store located on a busy main r9ad so getting in and out can be a pain in the hu hum. Lol. That said the staff are friendly and helpful and anything that isn't stocked in store can be ordered and delivered next day

A good range of basic products is stocked with generally good stock levels. A pleasant shopping environment which is encouraging to browse the isles rather than grabbing and leaving. On this occasion just a couple of items for me.

The store is well laid and normally the staff are helpful, however called in today and felt like it was an effort for the member of staff on the till. I don't expect them to ask how my day is going, or what my plans are, but I do despair when it's more important in the mind of the cashier to be texting rather than provide me with a service, both before I handed her the goods and during the transaction... #unprofessional

Just like any other Wickes, has most things you would need for DIY around the house. Large on site car park.
