I fitted three bathrooms with vanity hall units at considerable expense. Firstly, I would say that they do look lovely and I was happy with the finished products. However after less than 3 years, 2 drawer fronts started showing signs of wear and the paint was flaking off in large chunks.
I went back to the shop that did the design to raise the quality issue. The drawer fronts went back to Vanity Hall for inspection. I was told the flaking was due to water damage and given a price to replace them - pretty poor when you consider I have spent thousands with this company.
Out of principle I declined. I took the drawer fronts to my furniture guy. He rubbed them down and repainted them for me at a fraction of the cost of the new draw fronts. He confirmed the fronts were factory sprayed with a cellulose paint which is not durable enough for a bathroom.
Whatever your view on this, the units should last for years in a bathroom environment.
If you want good customer service and a company that stand behind the quality of their product then I would shop elsewhere.

Ripples Solihull supplied and installed two Vanity Hall sink cupboard units in my house, one in a bathroom and one in a cloakroom.

The corian work surfaces on both sink cupboard units has split.

When Vanity Hall came to inspect the units, their representative claimed they were not Vanity Hall units. He also stated that the corian work surfaces had not been manufactured to the specification/design used by Vanity Hall. He also confirmed that he could see no excess water in the bathroom and/or cloakroom that could have caused the corian work surfaces to split. He left stating he would check Vanity Hall’s purchasing records to establish whether the units were in fact manufactured by Vanity Hall.

I then received a letter from Vanity Hall confirming that the units had been manufactured by Vanity Hall. The letter stated that we had subjected the sink surfaces to excess water which had caused the damage. Vanity Hall therefore denied liability for the damage.

Sink work surfaces are designed to get wet.

It is clear that Vanity Hall have manufactured faulty sink work surfaces that are not fit for their intended purpose.

Vanity Hall’s customer service has been appalling. Vanity Hall initially denied that they had manufactured the sink cupboard units and then claimed we had damaged the sink work surfaces by subjecting them to excess water.

For these reasons I cannot recommend Vanity Hall’s products.

Based on previous experience, we have fitted Vanity Hall furniture in our bathroom. We are absolutely delighted with the product, the quality and attention to detail is outstanding.
Every part is made to order, but despite this they were able to get every item made, packed and shipped to us within our timescales.
It is reassuring that there is still first class manufacturing in this country.

We are immensely grateful to the team at Vanity Hall for everything they did for us.

we've had the vanity hall bathroom furniture in for 18 months. Paint on one cupboard began flaking within a couple of months. They duly replaced the door and i hoped it would be a one off. Unfortunately it isn't. I have since had 2 other cupboards and three drawer fronts with flaking paint. The rep said it was due to moisture!!! I love the look and the quality feel of the furniture, but i firmly believe it should not be sold as bathroom furniture if it can't handle the moisture produced in a normal family bathroom. Although they have resprayed the affected items, i feel as if it has been done grudgingly and i am genuinely worried about the future of these units. Vanity Hall, get your act in gear. This is not acceptable and you need to use a more robust finish which can withstand the bathroom environment.

Beware using vanity hall products. They have had new machines to produce their bathroom furniture and clearly they have a massive issue. We have had 2 sets of furniture for our new bathroom and both bath panels and cupboards have blown with a few days. There rep came round and assured me it was a 1 off but the 2nd set has blown as well. He basically lied to my face . My advice is to steer clear as there products are second rate thanks to these new machines and they will just string you along if there is a problem. Happy to supply photographs of the boards they supplied.
