I engaged this company to design and build a new kitchen and a garden room ar my house in mid 2023. I used them because they had completed a fantastic kitchen project and associated structural renovation for my partner a few years previously. I was extremely happy with the work that Simon, Helen and their team did for me. They delievered my project on time, on (competetive) budget and were a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism; responsiveness and attention to all details was exceptional. This is why it is worthwhile using a specialist local small business. I cannot recommend Stamford Kitchen Company highly enough!

After promising my wife Jane a new kitchen for at least a couple of years, now was the time to take the plunge. A daunting prospect as it was going to be a major investment in our home, but which local company to chose? We decided to approach 3 companies for quotes, with a basic idea of what we required, plus a maximum budget. Two of the companies provided radically different designs, one of which was £10k above our budget, but both were designs that seemed to be what the designers thought we ought to have rather than a true reflection of what we had asked for. Additionally, to bring the overpriced design within budget we were going to have to make several compromises, leaving us feeling somewhat disillusioned.
Thank goodness we chose Stamford Kitchen Company for our third quote. Not only did Helen listen carefully to our ideas, she was able to achieve a design that literally blew the others out of the water, and what's more was within our budget, without any compromises.
Simon visited us to consider the practicalities of achieving the design and allay any concerns regarding the structural alterations required.
Obviously unexpected issues arose, namely our American style fridge freezer - the only appliance to be retained - decided to break down. However Helen saw it as an opportunity to tweak the original design which ultimately proved to be an asset rather than a compromise.
The installation took 4 weeks, as suggested by the SKC, and was project managed to keep our stress levels to an absolute minimum. All the trades were punctual and polite, and thoroughly professional in their work ethic. The kitchen fitters were more like craftsmen, particularly when building a bespoke unit due to an-off-the-shelf unit being unavailable to fit in a particular space.
Equally the plumber Joe was never fazed by the challenges of installing newly positioned radiators in areas that presented problems. He always overcame issues with his cheery manner.
We cannot recommend The Stamford Kitchen Company highly enough. For anyone considering which company to employ, there really is only one choice. A local company who really care, but don't need to advertise. There reputation speaks volumes!

We used Stamford kitchen company for a new kitchen project which also involved substantial building operations with various steel beams and structural work in addition to just fitting a new kitchen. They manage all the different trades so have full control of the whole project which appealed to us. Really pleased with the work. The team was great to deal with from design all the way to completion and the end result looks great. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We’re very happy with our new kitchen by the Stamford Kitchen Company. From design to completion, everyone involved has been great to work with and shown excellent attention to detail in all areas. Our house is old, listed and quirky with no straight lines anywhere so it was quite a challenge to work out how best to deal with the kitchen. Helen really helped with some great ideas on how best to use the available space. We have so much more space and light now and are no longer tripping over each other. Every single thing about the kitchen is better and it’s a joy to work in. Thank you to every person involved.

We used Stamford Kitchen Company as they offered such a personal service and had a great choice for cabinets, worktops and handles. They were so helpful with the design thinking of aspects we hadn’t thought of. They really helped us to think how the space could work best for us. Their knowledge and sourcing of appliances was brilliant. When it came to installation the team were skilled and professional.
