I bought a new build 7 years ago with a symphony kitchen fitted. Within the first 6 months EVERY kitchen door developed blisters on the bottom panels and I complained. Someone came out to look and the report basically blamed ‘over zealous cleaning’ and use of kitchen appliances like kettles rather than accepting the real cause, either poor quality or a faulty batch. I just left it at that point because there was no taking sense to them or the developer, all they wanted to do was Fim me off, and walk away without accepting any liability for what were categorically faulty items. Its is a kitchen it’s always going to have a degree of steam, moisture, heat etc, so the fact the cabinet doors can’t withstand that is a manufacturing issue not a normal use issue!

The reason I’m leaving this now is because over the years the kitchen has just got worse and worse to the point that it’s just a sight now. Every door has blown and it looks awful.

I would not recommend this company to anyone neither in terms of quality nor customer service, once you get you’re stuck with it irrespective of how bad it might be.

The photos are from 7 years ago by the way and the ones supplied to the developer and symphony at the time!

We moved into our persimmon home at the end of June. As part of snagging a scratch on the worktop was picked up. Symphony came to replace the worktops but failed to see that the new worktops they fitted were more scratched than they were before. I stupidly trusted the guys fitting them that they would be doing a good job.
Why should I as a customer be doing someone else’s job inspecting the work, I have a baby to look after.

The site managers came out to our EMPTY kitchen the following day and agreed they were scratched. The sink was also covered in silicone (which I can’t get off) and scratches which weren’t there before.. maybe because they just dumped the sink outside by the pavement?
Now symphony are blaming us for scratching them and won’t come and replace them?! They also very conveniently won’t show us the photos which show that there are apparently no scratches. I’m sure these wouldn’t be close ups.

Really can’t be dealing with this stress. The photo shows the main scratch which is the most noticeable in certain lights but there are lots of other scratches all over.

If I was a customer with a £1m house I’m sure there would be a different attitude.

We had a Symphony kitchen fitted in 2019. Recently there was a slight problem with the painted finish. The response to my complaint has been nothing short of amazing. I feel, after five years, most companies would have put it down to wear and tear, but not Symphony. I spoke to Simon who was so helpful and sympathetic and quickly arranged a survey. All the cupboard and drawer fronts have been replaced and it's like a brand new kitchen. I don't have the names of all the people involved but would like to thank them all. Very special thanks to fitters Tracey, Kevin and Brian, you were so lovely, did an excellent job and had time for a chat. A big thank you to Simon for arranging the replacements and being so generous. I wholeheartedly recommend Symphony Kitchens, fantastic company supplying high standard kitchens.

Avoid this place. I Recently bought a kitchen from symphony and it was a disaster. Worktops were damaged when arrived, Units and door's also damaged. We had to put them back 3 times , and each time came back damaged. Because of this, my kitchen took 5 weeks to install, as my joiner couldn't get anything done until we received these item's. As of this, my house was like a building site, with damaged units and worktops lying about, as it took them a while to collect them. With having no appliances I could use in this time, I ended up with lots of extra costs to cover laundrette's etc. When I emailed symphony, it took them a while to respond back, and then told me to take it up with MKM, the place i had ordered it from.
After emails back and forth, I was offered £100 which isn't anything like the extra costs I had to fork out for, because they kept sending me damaged door's, units. The level of workmanship, and service has been a disgrace, especially with the money that we spent on a kitchen. Now that they have my money, they aren't interested. What happened to looking after your customers. Please Avoid this place at all costs. I didn't want to give any stars, but it wouldn't let me post, so that's the only way I gave them 1, because I had too

Had a redrow home with these kitchens fitted, very disappointed with the quality of them. I believe kitchens should last more than a couple of years .

We have used symphony for years, purchasing the kitchens through our builders merchant - Huw Grey. We have found the kitchens to be high quality and way above the average.

Looking at most of the low quality reviews on here most of the people appear to have issues with the quality of the install. We use our own team of joiners to install them so don't experience these issues.

The kitchens we have put in look stunning.

We moved in to our new build home and on the first day we found that kitchen we had paid extra for (paid alot extra) was damaged and had been built very poorly. Cabinets were drilled too shallow so that you can see the screws poking out from the doors, every cabinet panel was scuffed and they did not bond the units together. They also did not fit the boiler cabinet. We were told eventually that they were still waiting on parts for the boiler so we waited patiently. Nearly three months on we get a call saying they were coming over to install and rectify the damaged units. We arrived home to find not only had the damages not been rectified but instead our kitchen had been damaged further! The workman had knocked our light unit out of the ceiling damaging our light shade and then tried to hide it by incorrectly screwing the light back in. He’d also left the light on with the exposed live wire hanging out. Didn’t leave a note or contact us to let us know, just tried to hide it and left. Along with this, the boiler cabinet we waited three months for was fitted incorrectly, was not cut down to size within accordance to the uk boiler regs and was still missing half of the parts they assured us had arrived. They also attempted to remove the unit with the shallow screw and instead nearly pulled the door off of the cabinet next to it leaving the door wonky which now is no longer flush when closed. Five months down the line and we are still waiting on a response from symphony despite contacting their customer care and after sales. They just take your money and don’t want to know.

My daughter purchased a new home in Warsash with a kitchen supplied and fitted by this company. I think the contractors must have been shipped in from Texas as cowboys comes to mind.
I particularly like the two door cabinet only supplied with one handle and the exquisite workmanship on how they have propped up a worktop to keep it from sagging. Electrical fan below oven did not fit flush and was not screwed in and cabinets were damaged. Hob somehow managed to be installed even though it is rusty.
