The Amazing Hoi Sin cashew chicken was full of rich flavour and quality ingredients.
All the food was of an excellent Restaurant quality.
The Amazing orange chicken was extremely orange tasting. Chicken was very tender and of high quality.
The chicken and sweetcorn soup was very tasty and full of flavour. Would highly recommend them

We were visiting our good friends this weekend in Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, and we decided to order a Chinese meal.

These guys did not disappoint!!! Roast Pork curry was to DIE FOR, the Chow Mein was FAULTLESS. Couldn’t give a 5 as I hardly ever do unless I get to compare locally, and the atmosphere wasn’t really measurable as it was a takeaway. I was a little surprised that there was no card payment option though.

Definitely recommend to others!!!

Won't be ordering from them again while the customer service of the guy who answered the phone was great, I'm extremely unhappy with the overall experience. First delivery was covered in curry sauce so much so I had to call and get a replacement because everything was SMOTHERED with it. When the replacement was delivered, took afew mouthfuls before I pulled out a thick, long black hair! Absolutely lost my appetite! How disgusting! And considering I have short green hair, I can assure you it didn't come from me! £28 down the drain!

Got a takeaway here the other night, got the butterfly king prawns, crispy shredded beef, sweet & sour chicken & yung chow fried rice. It doesn't deserve the terrible reviews on here in my opinion. Really nice Chinese. Only negative thing was the wait time, well over an hour think it was 1hr 45mins but apart from that it was really good.

I wouldn't come here again or recommend to anyone. I was in Shrewsbury for the weekend so I thought i would try here, I should've trusted the reviews. Staff were very unfriendly and rude, food was tasteless and only accepts cash, I never trust a business that only accepts cash 🚩

The food is ok at best, the staff are rude, when I asked if I could possibly change an item as a vegetarian, a simple request which no other Chinese takeaway has ever had issue they said just order something else and sent the wrong food anyway, which wasn’t vegetarian so I was unable to enjoy most of my meal. They arrived late, this was my second chance at trying this takeaway as last time I ordered from here the food did not ever arrive and I tried to give them a second chance and this is what we got. They should be ashamed and I’m surprised they are still in business with the way they treat their customers. I have never met a person with a good thing to say about this take away. The staff need to learn some manners.

The chicken and sweetcorn soup was far too sweet, the spare ribs were fatty and we received mini spring rolls instead of large ones. Overall very disappointed.

We'd been using Star Kitchen for a few years without any problems. But as if late the chap on the phone, who also takes the orders over the Internet has become really nasty. He often cancels our online order and when we phone to ask if they are taking deliveries, he abruptly says yes. We had a mixup with our delivery address early on in the year as we'd recently moved and the rudeness from the man was quite awful. The food isn't bad, it's the customer service that's appalling. I wouldn't give them your business as there's some lovely takeaways around with friendly happy grateful owners and staff!
