We paid nearly 8k for redo a bath into a shower in Oct 2022 ( although we secured a quote with lower price in June and was told they could only start after September so deposit was paid to secured ) but when it came to September the price somehow went up as the quote) and after completion there were some issues, leaking, water pressure causing noise, and they were able to revisit when we called them but were not a pleasant negotiation at each time for them to revisit ! A month ago we started extension project including the conversion of the small kitchen underneath the shower room into utility room! The builders stripped off the ceiling in kitchen to start the conversion, we then saw how messy the pipe work and most shocking is the constant dripping from underneath the shower unit! Further investigation the shower unit panel was not waterproof tight, the water go through the shower unit into the floor board and onto the ceiling which we now stripped off! The outer side of the shower unit panel and in the booth corner is all wet and dark ( with water leak! This seems to have been for sometimes as the wood turn dark and wet!

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a complete refit of our bathroom and en-suite 7 years ago and ever since the work completed we have had to have the company out to rectify an issue. We have now given up calling them out as it is always sticking plaster repairs and the bathrooms now look worse than they did before they were refitted. We recently bit the bullet and decided to get a reputable bathroom fitter and tiler out for another refit and when he came out to quote he was astounded by the poor workmanship and even commented on the fact that some of the pipe work for the shower wastes actually ran up hill. Incredibly disappointed in this company and their complete failure to rectify a poor job. I would avoid this company like the plague!

I’m a specialist bathroom fitter and I enquired about a price for cladding. I was quoted more than my own customer when I sent them to pick a design. They are charging excessive amounts for inferior quality materials that I am regularly working with , so I know how much they cost. It seems what you look like dictates how much they charge you.

We have used this shop over a number of years to do diy jobs and have recommended them to other people so thought we would have them make over our bathroom as we can no longer do it our self.
They came out took all the details said the estimate would be in the post in a few days that was 3 weeks ago and nothing we are very disappointed as we have always found them very helpful.

What a bad experience, really think again if you plan to shop here. I wonder how this company sustains in the market place when so many other outlets have better products, customer service and value. .Cheap and cheerful comes with hidden costs and that is certainly what you get from SBP. Absolutely no regard for customer goodwill or after care service. As Rouge Traders advise, "avoid, avoid, avoid'. 0 out of 10 across the board.

We had excellent service from Dexter and Aaron Gibbs when choosing everything we needed for our bathroom and en-suite, nothing was ever too much trouble, great help from Aaron on the designs too. We would definitely recommend.
