Most unusual shop you will ever visit!!! Beautiful products from designer sofas, amazing tiles, and everything in between. An absolute feast for the eyes!!! Also the most amazing cafe which you just must visit. Take my word you will not be disappointed by anything at this place.

Well yes It took a while for our drinks to arrive, however all okay.
Food order took a while to arrive at the table,excellent ploughman's and salads.
Worth the wait.
Surprised how few staff on at 11.45 in the morning, then over the next half hour several appeared. We booked in advance, but we're served quite a while after others that arrived after us.
As we only had one dish requiring cooking ( sausage and mash) I confess the time taken for the arrival of our dishes. As someone who earned there living in a food environment with far more variety on our menu with respect spend some time organising the staff.
Then as it supplies excellent food at a reasonable price for the environment with nice people serving, with time control it would become extremely difficult to beat as an eatery.

A great place to visit beautiful items, and the best sandwich I've ever had, brie and bacon, in beautiful granary bread and absolutely huge! with big chunks of brie, salad and crisps on side, beautifully presented, husband asked if he could have egg, bacon mushrooms, sausage in a bap, no problem, luvly staff, and dog friendly thoroughly enjoyed it, will be back very soon thank you

This is a hidden gem of a place, especially if you like the finer things in life. Their range of products is stunning, and all are displayed in a great way. Ad you approach fro. Outside, you see a large old building that truly hides amazing products from soaps, shower wash, and hand cream to Christmas decorations to suit all tastes. And then there's the cafe. Not just tea/coffee and cake. Meals cooked fresh and served very carefully as you recline in soft chairs near to fires that warm yiu. It's not just a fireplace shop. It is so much more. Thank you to all the staff and owners who have and do out a lot of energy into making you feel welcome.

A delightful Aladdins cave of many things. Furniture, retro and modern. Ornaments, food and a great cafe. We had the nicest Ploughman’s we’d had in many a long year. There’s a varied menu and a good choice of drinks. Staff are helpful and polite. We will be returning soon.

First time we went a few months ago, we waited 30 minutes to get a cup of tea and a further 40 minutes for our sandwich to arrive. ( only cold food )
We visited again today for a second chance and yet again waited ages for a table even though 5 tables were free but not cleared, people queuing a long time to pay and others clearly looking cheesed off waiting at tables.
Once we were seated, we then waited a further 25 minutes and still nobody had even acknowledged us so we got up and left.
A great shame, as the food is actually good if you can get it .
Unless you have a good few hours to spare, don't bother.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Had a wonderful ploughman’s which was really good. My partner had the quiche which he really enjoyed. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

I went for a meal with group of people. We prebooked table and food. Staff was really polite. Furniture is nice but a bit clattered. You can get lost and restaurant is up the stairs. Not pram friendly. Have toilets downstairs. Food was lovely part from horrible 'chips' which were oil soaked potato wedges. Panini and a drink £10. Posh shop so prices a bit higher then other places in town. Has parking but sometimes full. Overall good.
