I've previously worked at a number of local bike shops for years. I've personally fitted several thousand helmets in that time. I purchased a Ruroc Atlas 4.0 Track Carbon Black December 2024. I used their size chart, and a tape. I can't even get the helmet on past the top of my head, with more than enough force needed to get a helmet on. Another issue, the biggest issue, was the liner, it's folded, out of place, and will not adjust back into proper position, lessening the safety effectiveness as well as the comfort of the helmet. I'm not going into detail here about why fitment is so important, but beware purchasing these helmets, the quality is just not acceptable, considering what I paid. Lastly, I'm now out shipping, Duty and Taxes, plus return shipping. That's a net loss of about 425$. Over and above the cost of the helmet, that I cannot recover, because their product was defective. Please, just avoid this brand at all costs. I would very very strongly recommend getting a different brand.
UPDATE: Jordan reached out, we connected and they have received the helmet i bought, but no refund has been issued. Waiting a bit longer because it's the holidays.

Purchased a skiing helmet with RG1 DX ShockPods 3 years ago. After 3 seasons and 3 skiing trips each lasting up to a week, ShockPods have several faults like battery not charging or buttons no longer control Bluetooth devices. After contacting customer support I've been told that the product only had a 12 month warranty and they do not offer repairs for this product. So essentially if you decide to purchase something from Ruroc DO NOT expect it to last very long and be prepared to throw it away as they do not support their customers. Not very environmentally friendly.

If you're reading this, then you're probably on the fence about making a Ruroc purchase...

Let me make this real simple for you...

Don't do it.
Don't consider it.
Don't ignore the signs.
Don't ignore the CUSTOMER reviews.
Don't be fooled by the 'Cool' looking helmet.

They truly are a JOKE of a company. These are nothing more than AliExpress helmets playing dress up for whatever's in fashion...

If you're fortunate enough to even get the helmet past your forehead without feeling pain & discomfort, then maybe yea it "could" protect you in an incident.

But if you manage to avoid an accident (God Willing), it will be their After-Sales Service that will really turn your brain to mush.

Remove any notion that you'll be special or different. YOU may be, but they remain the SAME.

This is you're helmet, invest in TRIED AND TESTED quality. No risks, you may not get a chance for a do-over...

With the money they charge for this Dog (pardon my french). I now understand why Youtubers are lining their pockets promoting this shh....stuff. 🙂

Either be smart or be a statistic. You were warned.

I purchased a RG1-DX and was very disappointed.

The goggles are very low quality and fog up easily. There is limited peripheral vision. The foam in the goggles began to rot away after 5 sessions rendering them useless

The face mask is impossible to take on and off. You have to remove your gloves and use a mirror. On multiple occasions, it got stuck and I had to get a friend to remove it.

The matte finished easily scratches. It was already scratched when I removed it from the box. After 1 session, numerous scratches appeared all over it. I have never had this issue with any other matte helmet.

Overall, I highly recommend you look elsewhere for a ski/snowboard helmet.

Placed an order for a helmet and followed up with the shockpods to match. Super fast delivery.... however helmet was entirely to small, although being my size. Registered a couple of times for an exchange, still waiting for returns label a week later. Tried 3rd time and I was contacted by email to let me know that they would request a returns label was generated and I should recieve it shortly.... Still waiting 3days later.
Frustrating to say the least as they have a 14 day returns policy and it was supposed to be a christmas present.....

Purchased a helmet years ago for snowboarding that came with chrome goggles, I accept that you should replace the helmet every 3-5 years (at least thats what I keep being told despite knowing many people with helmets they have kept for way longer than that) but I didn't expect to find the goggles that have been safely stored in the case, inside the helmet, in the original box at the top of a wardrobe and only used for a maximum of 4 weeks snowboarding to have become so soft that the frame simply fell away in my hands. I emailed Ruroc just for an explanation because I really couldn't understand how this could happen but just got told you should change your helmet every 3-5 years and that they've changed their manufacturing to improve quality. I reiterated I didnt have an issue with the helmet but wanted to understand how the goggles could have become like this. Surely goggles dont need changing every 3-5 years and are more a one time purchase but guess I'll need to buy a new pair now ... I won't be going with Ruroc again as I dont trust the quality and didnt enjoy the subsequent customer experience when I just wanted an explanation.

I bought the EOX ACE CAFE GOLD. I got a problem with the shockwave. It dosen't work on the right side, I swapped them and both works on the left side. I exchange it once, they send me back exactly the same helmet with the same issue. I send it again and guess what? Same helmet back with the same problem. Don't ever buy from them i won't recommend this joke company to anyone. What a lost of £700

BEWARE!! when buying from ruroc. Do not be fooled with the hype. Even though They improved some things, their product quality is still pretty poor.

I pre-ordered a Small JORMUNGANDR. After waiting for 4 weeks I received my helmet with burned marks and noticed that the outside of the helmet states small but the of the bucket says size Medium and has a date from previous year... I was skeptical but customer service assured that this is how they make their helmets. All that matters is what it says on the outside. They resolved this issue with a 30% refund that I have yet to receive.

Now With only a month of riding; with less than 150miles the rubber trim is already coming off. After speaking with Customer Service again about this new issue. They disregarded my concern about my request for a replacement for my safety concerns since my helmet is passed the 14 day policy and kept on pushing on a “simple”repair which they mentioned they will use “locktite”. Something I can do myself but will void my warranty… I should’ve stuck with my Shoei which I never had issue with out of the box.
