I contacted Quay Bathrooms after noticing water marks on the ceiling downstairs. After an initial investigation it was found that the leak was from behind the bath taps. Quay Bathrooms came to strip out the bath and carry out the repairs however it quickly became apparent that there was significantly more damage than initially thought. Myself and my husband were involved with all of the decisions that had to be made and the consideration shown by Gary and his team was second to none. All work was discussed and agreed before proceeding. They have done an excellent job under very difficult circumstances and we are very happy with the finished product. I would have no hesitation in recommending Quay Bathrooms. Not only are they professional throughout but lovely, trustworthy people to have in your home.
*Sadly still waiting for the invoice 8 weeks later that our insurance company has requested in order to look into our claim. Without any paperwork we cannot recoup any of the money already paid. This means we also have no proof of purchase to back the guarantee we were verbally given*

BEWARE. Before handing over any cash to this outfit, please go and visit their business premises - they don't exist!!!! It's a scam. Gary and Richie have taken over £5000 from me and not delivered product or service. They have left my family without a bathroom. He has no premises in Whitley Bay or 505 Stanhope Road in Shields (or 106 Close Newcastle). He is literally on the run with people's hard earned money. He owes thousands of pounds to landlords and has no premises or permanent address. Go visit the business address before paying any money to this charlatan. Recovery processes have begun.

Gary Stewart is a total cowboy. Do not touch him. He has wrecked my bathroom. Took hm to court and won a CCJ but unable to collect money as his business is a conman’s front. Absolutely disgraceful.

Made an inquiry on 18th August through their Facebook page for a gas central heating system replacing and brand new bathroom, after noticing the gas safe triangle on their website. After attempting to then view their checked and vetted page (logos on their site) I noticed there were no links or ties to them on checked and vetted. I made the inquiry on Facebook and was told someone would get back to me at 9am with the credentials so I could continue with my inquiry.

Checked this morning to find i have been blocked from their Facebook page completely. After doing some digging i have found that this business went bust last year and then set up in Newcastle and failed.

Do not give these cowboys a deposit either, after searching their name and speaking to people me and my wife found they took deposits last year at their old premises and ran away with customer money

Small job that needed doing was sorted out within a day without any drama and at a good price. They do a wide range of stuff from small jobs to bigger bits and I'd recommend them.
