After listening to me and assessing what I wanted to be done, he suggested the types of paint and ‘finish’ introducing me to some of the latest paint products on the market. Throughout the work he talked me through his target for the day and kept me updated . He was very thorough in preparing the walls and woodwork and he was meticulous in applying the paint to the different surfaces with great attention to detail.The result is truly lovely.

We have used Mike many times over the past 15 years, and I would never consider using anyone else. Our recent extension project needed the walls, ceiling and skirting boards painting. Mike's attention to detail resulted in an excellent finish to the project.

While here, he also expertly resolved issues caused by a what I can only describe as a "wood butcher", who badly fitted a door into our living room.

Mike is very friendly, totally trustworthy, calls when he says he's going to call, arrives when he says he is going to arrive, and all floors and surfaces were protected while he was working, and no mess was left behind when he finished.

Michael has been decorating my house since 2010 and I cannot fault his professionalism and the "quality of his finish". I have an Edwardian house with many of the original features including wooden sash windows, so I am most particular about the finish of the paintwork both inside and outside of the house. Michael only uses the best quality paint and restoration products, so not only is the initial work beautiful but of equal importance, it does not need re-doing for years. Mick has worked for us three times now in the last few years. Firstly he painted all of our exterior woodwork did the most wonderful job in terms of its look and finish. He also worked with us to make sure we had the right materials for a long lasting finish.

More recently he has redecorated our whole upstairs and hallway plus some additional wallpapering in the nursery. We are blown away by how good it all looks.

Mick is punctual, friendly, polite and incredibly professional. We would trust him with any job and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I have updated this review in January 2024 as Mick has just done a fabulous job of repainting our bathroom at very short notice, taking care and attention to make it look perfect again. Thanks as always Mick.
