The Professional Finish team were excellent in supporting us through the design and build of our kitchen project. They were willing to do early stages of our design over email which was a huge help to us, when many kitchen companies insisted we come to the showroom or put down a deposit before we could access them. Grant did an excellent job of discussing options with us and accommodated our requests. I think we did 14 revisions in total!

Our build had a number of complex elements including restoring a travertine floor and some structural and electrical changes which the team handled really well, and a couple of surprises which came up along the way on electrics and doors were discussed and dealt with efficiently and cost effectively. The team handled overall project management and estimated the timelines well for electrics and plastering. The minor electrics and plumbing was done by the fitters and was great quality, including improving the locations of some sockets and routing of audio cables.

The fitters led by Steve were very experienced and completed the work to a very high standard. They also left things clean and tidy every day and our decorators were very complimentary for the preparation of walls for painting, commenting that the standard of filling and sanding made their job a lot easier.

The final fit and finish of the kitchen is superb and snags were handled in good time. Kitchen projects are never cheap but we felt that the price was good value for money for the standard.

Right from the start, everyone involved in the process was really helpful, took on board our ideas and requests when preparing their proposals and designs.
We worked together to get designs exactly where we wanted them. The VR service is really helpful in understanding how the design fits in your existing space and it gives you confidence that you’re making the right decisions.

Steve and Mike were great fitters. They were really professional, respected our home during the fit out of both bathrooms. It was fairly calm process with great communication all the way through.

The standard of workmanship is really high. We are super pleased with the results and seeing all our come to life.

We decided to pay more for quality rather than going down the mediocre line which we have done in the past. The workmanship from Steve and Mike was brilliant when completing our ensuite and downstairs cloakroom and the communication from Gary and Grant from their showroom getting the fine details correct was a must.

I would certainly recommend the company if you want a decent fit and finish but be prepared to do the decorating yourself which I did being careful not splash paint on their great work!

We were researching a company to refit an ensuite and massive refurbishment of kitchen including knocking a wall down and a utility and boot room. We also had a new boiler which was moved from the utility to garage and also had some of the units from old kitchen fitted in garage with the old utility sink. We found professional finish online and reviews were amazing. From our initial meeting right through to the end of projects which took about 3 months we had total professionalism, help and guidance from start to finish. We were consulted every step of the way. Attention to detail and all the work was done to perfection. It was a pleasure to deal with Gary and Grant at the showroom and they also gave us support while work going on. Steve and Mike did the ensuite and workmanship was amazing. Richard and Connor did the work on the kitchen etc which was a massive amount of work and a lot of things to consider before the start and while project was being done. Again we cannot praise them enough. Whilst having this done we had a lot of disruption due to the amount of work. Richard and Connor did everything they could to make our life as easy as possible. This enabled us to still have working and functional spaces. Having such an amount done comes with compromises but we can honestly say we got through it fine due to having Professional Finish doing the work.
They may not be the cheapest but they give value for money and it was apparent why it was costed as it was when we saw the amount of work involved to achieve nothing short of perfection. It really was a pleasure to have them in our home and had no worries leaving them in our home if had to go out. So if you want a quality job done look no further than Professional Finish.

We were desperately in need of a new family bathroom and living very close to the Moulton Park showroom we popped in one morning where we were greeted by Mark. We talked through our wants and desires as well as our current problems and a day later Gary came to our house to measure up and get a look at the space. A couple more days after that and we got the first quote through.

Professional Finish kicked things off by specifying at the high end and their quotes are very detailed to also serve as a schedule of works if you proceed to order – ours ran to 26 pages. They will take care of absolutely everything the job requires from materials supply to arranging roofers to fit tile extraction vents. The only thing they don’t do is paint!

In total there were 7 revisions to our quote as we worked to cost optimise some areas and spend more in others, Mark was patient with us and great help all the way through advising and making suggestions.

Jamie and Jack were our assigned crew and with them our build time ended up being the predicted 3 weeks to functional plus a couple of extra days for final details. Every day started with sheeting up and protecting the areas leading to the bathroom and every day ended with a clean up. They were always respectful of us and the house, listened to good music and were kind to the kids when they went to have a look at what had been done while they were at school.

For our build, the room was stripped completely bare and then rebuilt from floor joists up. With the walls being full tile in large format this proved the most time consuming element because of the 42 tiles that make up the room only 6 didn’t need any cutting – Jack was a hero outside under a gazebo in the pouring rain with the angle grinder scribing tiles to fit. Jamie did an awesome job getting them on the wall with aesthetic in mind from the outset for layout and function with minimized grout lines and complementary trim. This attention to detail was present throughout when positioning the fixtures and furniture so that they are already comfortable for our kids to use on their own.

At no point will you ever feel that the team is rushing to finish your job to get to the next one – the emphasis is all on quality, however you may see members of other crews too if they end up with an afternoon of availability and there is work they can assist with.

What we have ended up with is both beautiful and highly functional, we have loads of storage, the spacious shower is a delight to use, the huge towel rail holds a family’s worth of towels while keeping the room warm and the powerful extraction keeps condensation and humidity under control so quietly you don’t hear a thing in the 3 adjoining rooms. This bathroom is so good that I’ll go downstairs to use it in preference to our en-suite.

I’d not hesitate to use Professional Finish again.

Professional Finish are truely what their name suggests. From start to finish we couldn't of wished for a more professional team. We started with our ensuite then moved onto the kitchen, utility & downstairs toilet & have just had our main bathroom gutted & completely refurbished. Many thanks to Gary, Grant & Mark for making the process so easy & really special thanks to our teams of fitters - Steve & Mike, Richard & Connor who were exceptional in their work ethic & attention to detail. They made things seamless. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend them.

We had our bathroom completely gutted and re done.Shower changed from electric on the wall to running off the boiler, new cubicle, re tiled new cabinets, sink,toilet,radiator. Dan did a fabulous job, tremendous care and attention to detail. We were kept up to date at every stage, and everything we asked for was done, they were also reliable, courteous and tidy. Would highly recommend them.

Professional Finish installed a lovely new shaker style kitchen & utility for us this summer. The work included knocking down walls, installing a Rolled Steel Joist, new ceiling and ceiling lights, electric box and adding a new floor as well as putting in a beautiful island, wall cupboards, water softener, some new white goods and quartz worktops. The whole process from design to completion was seamless and was project managed by the company using builders who they knew well and whose work was of a high standard. A clear plan and timeline was devised which was kept to so as the customer we knew exactly what was going to happen and when. The standard of the kitchen fitters work was impressive, even the new pipework for the sink and water softener was a work of art it was so tidy looking. The fitters - Steve and Mikey - took a pride in the job, spending the end of each day tidying the site, and were extremely pleasant to know and have in the house, we missed them when they left for good!   Mark, who designed the kitchen and project managed the build, was a delight to deal with, not pushy but clearly keen to provide a quality experience. We can't recommend this great local company highly enough.
