⭐️⭐️⭐️ | "Like a Treasure Hunt… But Without the Treasure"

Ah, Primark Banbury—a place where fashion dreams and fabric nightmares collide. Walking in, you're immediately greeted by a warm gust of bargain-scented air and the distant sound of hangers clattering like wind chimes in a retail storm.

The selection? Well, if you're after a pair of jeans that somehow fit perfectly and completely wrong at the same time, you're in luck. Need a t-shirt with a slogan that was trendy in 2014? They’ve got you covered. Shoes? Sure, but don't expect them to survive more than three decent walks.

The staff are lovely, though they often have the haunted look of people who have just restocked the same pile of hoodies for the tenth time that hour. And the changing rooms—if you can find them—are an adventure all on their own, offering the kind of lighting that makes you question every life choice you've ever made.

But the real challenge? The checkout queue. It's like an endurance test. By the time you reach the till, you've aged slightly, lost three members of your party, and started rethinking whether you really need that £3 candle that smells kind of like vanilla but also a bit like regret.

All in all, a solid place if you love a bargain, don’t mind a bit of chaos, and enjoy playing “will this survive the first wash?” A true British institution.

Would I return? Of course. I’m only human.

The store has good selection of cloths and very nice to see that in the men's section too.

I think the home section could do with a face-lift.

The security guard is amazingly friendly, so plz make sure to say hello on your way in. I think that would really make his day! 😀

Could we plz ask the till clerks to smile tho.

Very friendly staff, always willing to help if you can't find something. We managed to get everything our kids needed for the holidays in one place.

Excellent selection of good prices affordable.
Helpful pleasant staff. But as for example Sheffield city centre some self service check outs needed to complement the excellent staff

This store should be a 5 in terms of tidiness and cleanliness, but....upstairs tills were closed, down stairs tills only had 2 people on, queue was beyond the queue point, staff kept ringing for help as customers weren't happy and no one came to help them. The two members working the tills stayed polite and kind and deserve a medal as they were left with zero help or support. Terrible way to treat staff and customers left to just wait to pay for way too long.

Plenty of lovely, affordable clothes there. Relatively busy. Plenty of woman's and children. The changing rooms are somewhat spacious but plenty of spaces. It's perfect if you're going for big shopping spree or going somewhere nice or an important event. Plenty of choices of clothing, nothing more than £20 for an item. Huge store and lovely accessories, plenty of stitch stuff.

Conveniently located just off the M40. Free parking in the retail park although it gets busy at weekends and can sometimes be difficult finding a space. The Primark itself is not the biggest of stores and a lot of the clothes are aimed at pre-teen / younger generation. Still, its handy for stocking up on cheap t-shirts, socks, underwear etc.

I keep losing sunglasses. I had 4 pairs at the start of summer. How have I lost FOUR pairs? Went in here today, and their sunglasses were on sale for a pound! Yes please, five! (They'll be gone by September).
