Dear Chief Executive, I have just taken delivery of a new suite of furniture delivered by a pair of very nice young men who did a perfect job of removing our very bulky and awkward old furniture and unpacking our delightful new furniture with complete ease and minimal disturbance.......an absolute delight! They showed great skill and confidence in negotiating restricted access without the slightest of complaint. Very polite and a credit to their employers. What a fantastic local business.
Had a mattress delivered today and when I unpacked it, it had some staining.
One call to the store, a call back from the boss a few minutes later and a replacement mattress delivered within a couple of hours.
Local businesses like Padfields are just brilliant, the contrast with internet suppliers service levels is night and day.
We have also found their prices excellent for the quality of products they sell.

We’ve been into the store several times looking for curtains and new sofas. It’s a delightful store, enormous range and extremely helpful staff in all departments. We’ve placed an order for curtains and sofa’s and we’re very pleased with the deal and quality of experience by the staff members

Nicely laid out store with lots of options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clear advice on timescales and delivery and all prices marked. I bought an extremely comfortable chair here on display and it was delivered to my house within an hour and a half. Will absolutely come again.

Padfields really look after their customers. They deserve 5* for thier excellent cutomer care ethos. I had an issue with a 10 year old sofa that was not covered under manufacturer warranty and it was fixed by Mr. Mills personally with great care and skill. Well done!!

Buyers beware! 5 month battle re 2 sofas. Mr Mills came out to inspect but would not accept they had any faults. We had an independent report carried out, 17 manufacturing faults found (10 on 2 seater and 7 on 3 seater). Finally collected sofas 2 days before Christmas, leaving us without seating but at least we received full refund PLUS cost of report. Does not really deserve one star but gave this because of his staff who were very polite and helpful.
