Ordered in a hire suit for a wedding for one of the groomsman. Measured by the staff at Moss Basingstoke who then put in the wrong order (if I hadn’t gone back in to add to my order I wouldn’t have known) and then when I received the suit they’d also put through the wrong size as well (by 8 inches!).

Customer service at this Moss is consistently pretty poor, although some of the staff are fine. When I took my wedding suit to the tailor he wasn’t very complimentary of this store either. I would recommend going to any other Moss store over this one.

If you need a suit for a special occasion I would suggest you go somewhere else, too risky to use this place and definitely not worth the stress.

Manager (guy in green jumper) forgot to order suit jacket in on first visit. 2 weeks later ordered again and after a second visit we finally found it. Loads of young staff with no clue what they’re doing. No customer service and no people skills. Buying a wedding suit is meant to be an enjoyable experience but this was far from it. Awful staff that need re training or a different vocation. We weren’t even asked if the Jacket was okay or we liked it, any advice with alterations. Just awful from start to finish and having used Moss before it’s a stark contrast to their usual standards. AVOID at all costs.

Robert assisted me in selecting a suit by making accessory suggestions and assisting with fitting. I loved a suit but wanted to check out other places in case there was something else, so I notified him. After checking out other stores, I returned to Moss Bros to try on some other suits in various sizes (assisted by Robert). After about an hour of mixing and matching suits, I selected my perfect one and bought it right away. Robert was really patient with me and seemed to be interested in my needs, which was great to see. I cannot recommend Robert or this store highly enough; there is a fantastic assortment of suits, wonderful service, and incredible quality.

The reason for four stars rather than five is the expense of the products; although the quality appears to be excellent, I spent £350 on one suit with a tie and socks but no shirt purchased. That being said, if I need another suit and am willing to pay more for higher quality, I will definitely return to this store.

Had a great experience and fantastic support from Jas to get hold of a suit on short notice! I have had very good experiences with Moss Bros before at different locations but this has probably been my best one. I will be returning to Basingstoke Moss Bros if I need any suits or shirts in the future.

Wanted a suit for my daughters upcoming wedding. I used the ‘tailor me’ service where Ashley was excellent, he was knowledgeable and attentive as we (daughter and I) chose the fabric, linings buttons etc. even other members of staff were polite and engaging.
I was kept fully informed about delivery into store dates.
Good old fashioned customer service, I highly recommend this store.
