When looking to buy our new house we wanted to take up a medium - large renovation project and we knew from the start that we wanted this to include a bespoke kitchen as we both love to cook, love to host guests and we both work from home (even so before the Pandemic hit) so we knew that we could appreciate and value living and working around the luxuries that come with such a kitchen.

Whilst in lockdown we had plenty of time to plan and research all aspects of our dream kitchen; appliances, worktop space, education hob with built in extractor fan, all the fun stuff as well as the companies that could put all this together and turn our ideas into reality. We finally came down Minerva and one other company, both very similar in quality, customer service and price, however after heading up to meet the guys at Minerva in there showroom/workshop we were sold. You could tell just how passionate Josh and Matt were about the company and the love of kitchen designs. For us another big factor was whatever we were doing to the house we wanted to use local tradesmen and companies, so the fact we buying a house in South Herefordshire and using a Bespoke Kitchen company from just outside Hereford was ideal!

The design process with Minerva was simple and painless. Matt made several trips over to our kitchen to check out the site, which at the time consisted of 3 separate rooms that we were planning to knock through and turn into one large open plan kitchen/dining/living area, so needless to say both sides had their work cut out!

After months of conversations (which would have been quicker except for covid), site visits and planning we had our final kitchen plan decided. We had to wait almost 2 months before the kitchen was due to be fitted but that was perfect for us because we had so much house renovation work that needed to be completed before then, including knocking down three walls and replacing with steels for our open plan dream to start taking shape. Time flew by and when it. was time for the kitchen to start being fitted we were surprised to hear that it would all be done in 10 days,! Half of that time was fitting the kitchen units and the other half was touching up and waiting for the worktop to be measured up, ordered, delivered and fitted.

Jordan and Neil were the two kitchen fitters that Minerva sent to us and what a lovely couple of guys. From the moment they arrived they were polite, friendly, informative and professional. The time and care they both took in every aspect of our kitchen fitting, checking things over again, touching up, correcting and ensuring we were 100% happy with every aspect of the kitchen. You could really tell they had such pride in their work and would not settle for anything less than perfect,

There is not one element in our kitchen that we would have done differently, from the layout, the style, the units, the features and the colour which apparently had their workshop in a 50/50 split, half hated the green and half loved it!

If anyone is looking for a independent bespoken kitchen company run by two professional but down to earth guys that go above and beyond to ensure you receive the perfect kitchen for you, I could not recommend Minerva high enough!

We came across Minerva Kitchens almost by accident. Not only did we find that they are nice people to deal with they also create a great product which is handmade and great quality. Their pricing is very competitive and dare I say could be more expensive.

We found that nothing was too much trouble and ideas and suggestions gave us and them a kitchen to be proud of.

Would I recommend Minerva, absolutely without a doubt, Well done Matt, Josh and team we can't fault anything a great job.

This picture doesn't do justice to the kitchen however I wanted to show it as we wanted a corner cupboard/larder and the "boys" hadn't made one before. This isn't a cupboard but a piece of very well made kitchen furniture.

We had a couple of cupboards and a wine-rack made as well one for our coats and the other for the vacuum and cleaning stuff. Another great job and attention to detail is fantastic.

The interesting thing being the bits you never see where others would not worry how they looked these guys treat the unseen as seen and great workmanship.

When buying a kitchen I would go no further than Minerva. We have had kitchens in several houses from the standard kitchen supplier to a high end supply and fit and the truth is these guys are the best we have ever used.

Oh and they hadn't made a wine rack like this either before our request so we were not an easy customer but a very satisfied one.

Minerva produced a stunning kitchen for our grade 1 Manor House. A complex project, nothing was too much trouble, the finished kitchen was breathtaking , superb quality and at an attractive price compared to other premium brands. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them.

Matt and his guys did a fabulous job. They really cared about getting it right. They struck the right balance between listening and suggesting. They were great to have around in the house while the build was going on - something that was important to us. Being new to Herefordshire I was unaware of any reputable Kitchen companies to make and install the new Kitchen I had planned for my new home. I found Minerva through a google search and got in touch with Matt to arrange an appointment at the showroom to discuss my requirements.

I immediately knew that I wanted him to design and build my Kitchen as he understood the exact look I wanted and his enthusiasm was very evident. We started a design process and Matt came up with a brilliant first design draft which we tweeked together over the following weeks, Matt making several visits to my home to discuss any changes and providing samples so that I could physically see what the design would be like and backed up with computer generated graphics which were very helpful.

As the Kitchen is totally bespoke and made to my specifications I found Matts guidance and commitment extremely helpful in coming to a final decision on the design and layout of the Kitchen. As I didn't want to be running around Matt was able to supply the appliances I specified and arranged for the electrician and tiler I would need to complete the Kitchen, they project managed the whole process once the design was completed. I was given a start date and a completion date and waited eagerly for the installation.

Installation began on the scheduled date following the preparation work of the tiler and electrician and went very smoothly. The fitters worked methodically and professionally and brought to life the images in the graphics. During installation I did ask for some minor adjustments to the design and these were made without any fuss - the whole process was so easy and was completed on schedule as promised.

The Kitchen Minerva designed, made and installed is exactly the Kitchen I wanted and the quality is superb. It is built to last in solid wood with painted cabinets in the exact colours I had specified, I even had the insides of the cabinets painted though left the drawers in solid Oak. The Silestone worktops work incredibly well with the cabinet colours and truly finish off the Kitchen.

Working in the Kitchen is a pleasure as everything is to hand and within easy reach. The larder unit not only looks great but is amazing storage as is the specially made spice drawer and corner carousel units which mean no storage space is wasted.

As an interior designer I do have very high standards and expectations probably more so than the "average" person and Minerva Kitchens have delivered on all counts. I have a high quality, bespoke, modern country Kitchen which is exactly what I asked for.

Matt and his business partner Josh make a brilliant team and are a pleasure to work with. The huge advantage of working with the owners of the company is that customer satisfaction is paramount to them, they take such pride in their work.

I would recommend Minerva to anyone.

Minerva have recently finished our new kitchen. We had several meetings with Minerva, Matt in particular, over the last 12 months or so (it took that long due to us, not them). Matt had lots of excellent ideas and was always open to our suggestions too. The layout/design changed several times (again down to us, not them) and Matt was always happy to make the changes without any fuss. Ian who fitted the kitchen was meticulous and clearly knows his stuff. We couldn't be happier with the final outcome. Minerva are certainly more expensive than some kitchen places, but are unquestionably very good value for money. If you want a top quality kitchen look no further.

A friend recommended Minerva to me to create a bespoke kitchen and they exceeded my expectations. The kitchen is beautiful as well as functional and the attention to detail and willingness to create bespoke solutions for internal cupboard fittings so it really works for me was exceptional. I was so pleased with Minerva's work I also commissioned them to make a number of bookcases, drawers to fit a loft space, a walk in wardrobe and linen cupboard storage all of which were delivered to the same high standard. Finally they have recently built a gorgeous Ash kitchen for my mother who is absolutely thrilled with it and finds it a pleasure to work in.
