It was my first time to visit barrow in Furness. I saw on Google Maps that this restaurant had a wide variety of dishes, so I came to give it a try. I ordered a coconut chicken curry and a full English breakfast, also a Earl Gary for drinks. The coconut chicken curry lacks curry flavor, and the coconut flavor is also very weak, but has some spiciness. This is strange because in Thai curry, yellow curry is not supposed to be spicy, but only has curry aroma. If it is Japanese curry, the curry in this restaurant also lacks the flavor of Japanese curry. All in all, I don't think the curry tastes good and I don't recommend it. There is nothing need to comment about full English breakfast, it tastes like this all over the UK. And the Tea is OK.

Considering this restaurant is not expensive...It's quite acceptable.

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND & ADVISE - You won’t get any better place.

Veggie Breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve ever had in a long time. Very close amenities in town. Parking isn’t an issue. Outside catering available.

We were both left speechless with the amount of stuff available to eat as a veggie breakfast for that price tag of £5.70. Much cheaper than other places in town. If we were to compare other places cost £7.50. So it’s worth it.

They always managed to get the breakfast ready so we can come in and eat straightaway.

£3.55 for the smallest coffee ive ever been served (extra shot?), £6.50 for a tiny breakfast which was overcooked. Took over 50mins however service was good.

Edited!* This review is real, and as you questioned it ill elaborate. My experience here was dreadful, sausages where tiny, egg was overdone, came in a box 5x the size of the meal, the coffee (cappuccino) was very expensive for what tasted like dirt warmed up and still only got about 200ml of it

AVOID THIS PLACE

Clean tidy restaurant. Service was good for 1 person having to run around. Food was nice and cooked well.
But food was served with metal pieces ( metal scouring pad, I know this as I work in the food industry myself ). When told the response was ‘ok that’s £48.30’. No apology offered. Didn’t want a refund or discount just an apology or acknowledged at least.
Kids meals did not come with fruit shoot as stated on menu but most defiantly charged the £5.50 for a medium sized milkshake we ordered on top.
No care given really. Will not be returning. Please don’t not respond to my review with attitude as I have seen with your other honest reviews. Just ask in future you don’t serve £50 worth of food with metal pieces because if it had been the kids meal I would have taken to trading standards. I’ll put it down to a one of.
Kind regards.

If I could rate this place with a zero then I absolutely would, but that is sadly not possible.

I placed an order through barrow eats where I ordered eggs florentine and 3 sides which were bacon, sausage and black pudding. Firstly it was only suppose to take half an hour and ended up taking one hour and 5 minutes. Once it arrived I could see my order was incorrect. Just to clarify with the eggs florentine, they are suppose to come with hollandaise sauce, spinach and two muffins. There was NO hollandaise sauce and they added tomatoes and olives instead, which I cannot eat!

I rang up the store and Bailey who answered was polite and checked this with the kitchen. The phone was then passed onto the RUDEST person ever, which I can only assume is the manager! She dismissed me completely and called me a liar and said she trusts her staff of five years to not make this mistake and said that the sauce was underneath and then hung up, not even giving me the chance to speak!

Pretty sure people make mistakes, but hey ho! It is not on to be this rude to a paying customer. Why would I call and complain if there wasn't an issue with the food? I have no reason to lie!!!

I have taken photos and will send them to your email.

If anyone has an ounce of respect for themselves, they won't order from such a horrible woman who has no sense about customer service!

I recommend you do some training in customer service. The reason you obviously reacted the way you did is because this must be common and you just refuse to believe the issues exist. Well they do! People are human and they make mistakes.

I don't wish your business success until you grow as a person and actually listen to your customers!

Such a cute lil cafe, staff were really nice and accommodating. Food didn’t take too long and so much to choose from. Pay on order which is really nice so your not waiting for the bill when your finished eating.
