Mannsons have dealt for my company all imports from China normally 3 a year for about 7 years. I have about 10 tonne due in this week. I emailed them to handle it plus transport to my warehouse. Reply sorry to busy to handle this time but will you call us for future deliveries we will help. I don't think so

All the staff at Mannson Freight have been highly professional and helpful in my interactions with them. They answer emails and calls quickly and have always given me useful advice. Their prices are competitive too. I hope to continue to deal with them when I import goods from overseas.

If possible avoid at all costs. Mannson handled a sea freight haulage from China that I received, I wasn't able to select the freight forwarder within the UK and therefore was absolutely over a barrel in regard to the extortionate costs they charged.

They were not transparent with their fees and invoiced me on 3 occasions to release and deliver the items, the cost of these three invoices was far greater than the value of the item I purchased. If at the beginning of the process I was aware how much they intended to charge me I wouldn't have bothered to have the item delivered - I would have cut my losses. When I paid the second invoice I was told they would deliver on Tuesday (they were charging me rent to hold the item) after paying the fee I was then notified I missed the cut off by 3 minutes and they couldn't deliver on Tuesday and that I would need to pay additional rent until it was redelivered.

When we finally arranged a date for the item to be delivered I explained that I needed assistance moving the item from the tail lift as it was very heavy - they said they couldn't do this but would call me 30 minutes before arriving so I could arrange a friend to assist with taking delivery - obviously they didn't call me and the truck and pallet arrived with no-one home to assist.

Couldn't have had a more awful experience...

New to the import business, Mannson Freight is a god sent. There are a whole host of freight forwarders out there and I'm so glad I chose the right one. They are knowledgable, professional and helpful. Helped me coordinate products from 2 different suppliers in China and walked through all processes and costs with me through to offloading at final destination. A special shout-out to Dan Carey for his patience answering all my silly newbie questions. Fantastic customer service and reasonable fees. Highly recommendable.

Shocking experience. Needed two medium sized boxes to be cleared. Despite not clearing the delivery for 7 days (throughout which we were ready for pick up), we’ve been charged for the storage time and stung with excessive fees. I’m generally reluctant to leave bad reviews but there was no budging on the phone. Will not be using them again and would recommend other businesses consider alternatives.
