Used Jones and Shuff for a bathroom redesign in 2005, and had no hesitation in going back to them again, for a re-fit in 2024! Craig Meakin was the bathroom fitter for them first time round, and is now the showroom salesman, so there is nothing he doesn’t know, or can’t find out about bathrooms ! Always contactable by email or phone, and very responsive to questions and or problems, even once out of hours Keen to go the extra mile to make it all work
Helped us with our quirky requests, the design of an odd shaped bathroom ( in a house built in 1855) and was very patient with us and also our builders/fitters who sometimes needed random bits of the order in no particular sequence always yesterday!

It started with a 'tap' .......

Following a discussion at home and the need for a tap and a plumber it soon turned into why don't we look into a new luxury 'hotel' style bathroom.
Off we went to J&S in Kingsley to discover they were mid move to new premises in Longton but Craig chatted to us with such enthusiasm and knowledge the brief began to build. The project very quickly escalated on our part based on Craig's knowledge to cover our needs of a new water cylinder, water softner system, new luxury bathroom with a must have 'enormous' bath, a revamped family bathroom and new utility room.
At the first meeting we left with an arm full of brochures and ideas for all aspects along with the names and recommendations of plumbers who could help with the project.
Once we had reviewed the initial brochures and outline budgets were set Craig offered to come along and do a site visit to understand the brief in more detail and make necessary recommendations and suggestions which proved to be a valuable part of the process in order to not make the wrong choices and design ideas. Working with Craig and his recommendation of Staffordshire Plumbing & Joinery the project started to take shape.
We went to the Longton showroom on a number of occasions to review samples Craig obtained for us. His time and diligence on the project was brilliant and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. We needed a huge amount of tiles for both bathrooms and Craig encouraged us to review the market but to be honest we ended up back with J&S as the quality and design choice was far superior to what we have seen elsewhere.
Final designs and product selections were placed with ease and we were off on a journey of house renovations that would take several months.
During this process Craig was in regular contact with us and made subsequent site visits to check on progress but also acted as a conduit to Staffordshire Plumbing & Joinery to ensure the brief was executed to the highest standards.
In summary we started with a 'tap' but we finished with quality rooms and craftmanship that we are delighted with thanks to Craig from J&S and his recommendation of Tristan & Jack from Staffordshire Plumbing & Joinery.
