We had used them once before and they were efficient and we were happy, but not so this time. When they emailed to resolve their online payment issue, they were very efficient and took only a few hours or less to reply to all my emails. However, after payment, we did not hear from them and started to get a little worried that something was wrong after 2 weeks. We emailed them to ask if they have a general day for delivery, NO response. Called them a few days later and the receptionist had a bad attitude and was difficult to deal with. She said she would ask the team and call us back, and then we never heard from them again. Finally we received an email saying they would ship the next day, which was few days delayed, not within 14 working days after payment they promised. We can understand that if you are busy, you can simply tell us that there may be a delay of a few days, but ignoring your customers is poor service and very disappointing.

The antique picture we bought at auction was very well packaged using several different types of protective wrapping, and arrived safely in Australia.
Shipping was delayed because they shut down over Christmas/New Year, but arriving safely was the important thing.

Having used online auctions for a number of years, mainly for wines and champagnes, quite a lot of auction houses don't ship these items and so outsource that to courier firms.

In all my years of requesting a quote for shipping, and obtaining quote so you can factor this into the final sale price, JenTel are the only company that actively requests a payment of £6 presale, simply to provide you with a quote.

If the lot if withdrawn, or if you're outbid and you don't win the lot, then you don't receive your £6 back, as I found out once they confirmed that in an email.

Why on earth would anyone pay a company to provide a quote on something you may or not win is beyond me, think I'd rather not big on an item if JenTel were the only option.

Used JenTel to take delivery of some wine purchased at auction. The customer service is clearly not a priority to for them. Correspondence and updates were scarce and I had to call in frequently to check what was going on. It’s been over 3 weeks since engagement of their service and I am still waiting to receive my package. To add insult to injury, the man who deals with calls is unapologetically patronising. Stay clear!

We have used Jentel before and they were great, however the service we received recently was poor. I emailed them using the email address provided by the auction house which was the same email address we always use.

There was no reply so I called them and they hadn't received the email (it was showing as correctly sent in our sent folder). They then sent a quote which I replied to immediately to accept it and to request an urgent collection and shipping. There was no response so I called again.

They hadn't received the second email either. The person I spoke with was very defensive and wasn't helpful in resolving the matter. They were unable to tell me where my emails had gone.

I called MBE. They were £12 cheaper, collected, packed and shipped on the same day

Highly recommend JenTel for your packing and courier services. The quality of packing was second to none, ( even wrapped in tissue paper, your goods are very well handled and taken care of) the service and communication is first class and they dealt with multiple auction houses on our behalf and took the stress out of the process. Honestly stop hesitating and use JenTel. I will use every time from now on. Thank you Clare !

I just called a customer service and we had bad connection she has talked to me as super rude like this "JUST WAIT I'M OPENING SOMETHING JUST WAIT OKAY ! " and probably she was chewing gum.If i could give them less than one star point i would.

I emailed the company for a quote after winning two auctions and needed to arrange collection of the items and sending.

As I have done this before I emailed all the necessary information (addresses, the two auction lot numbers, pictures of the items and date of auction).

The first reply I got asked for the information that I had already put in the first email so they clearly had not read it.

I replied and advised them of this and then I got another email which only gave a quote for ONE lot item when I wanted TWO collected.

I emailed again and then the third email they sent had a quote for both items.

I was surprised it took three emails to get this right! This initial incompetence did not give me the faith that they would do a good job and so I read other reviews and saw that this is not a company that I want to use. If they cannot read emails from potential new customers properly then why would I trust them to post my items.

I got a quote from another company, it was £20 cheaper and this company (MBE) has a better reputation and better reviews. I got a proper quote straight away with one email.
