Very rude general manager who refused to take my part back even though I checked with the person I bought the item for one day prior and they confirmed I could return it if I opened it.

I give five stars to the lady who serve me yesterday and assisted me in the store for her honesty. Meaning I could return the item, but I do think staff training is required and he’s not the customers fault lady did not have the proper training.

Went over for toilet seat, had bought one from them a little while ago very good seat. But none in stock, so kept a look on website now 8 in stock so went straight over, another 20 mile round trip but still none "in the store room come back tomorrow". No thanks bought similar on line, not quite as good but £20 cheaper.

Ordered replacement quartz worktops in February which after much chasing by me, have only just been fitted. Kitchen department recommended a fitter who has left the job with a retractable tape hose that won't fully retract and a leak in the undersink cupboard! Very disappointed with lack of service from Homebase....AVOID
