Had the delightful experience of entering this establish on Saturday lunchtime. I had went in on a whimsy, after seeing a small queue emerging from the small shop.

It was alive in side, with people shouting out order numbers. One could have mistaken it for a fast food joint, the cacophony of numbers. One wouldn't have known their was an entire butchers and deli section as well. These had significantly less noise and foot fall.

I ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich. When my number was shouted out, I grabbed my bag and went, tearing away at it as I walked down Milson Street.

The flavours were raw and powerful. Firstly what hits you is the harsh horseradish, with it's insane tang. Then the raw rocket rears its head, peppering its pepper flavour across my tonged. This sensational warfare is calmed by the rich mayonnaise, wrapping a balm around my tongue.

The roast beef surprisingly tasted sweet, but I suppose it was in contrast to everything else. I would like to say it was the main element, but really I have to give it to the horseradish.
Finally the bread added another element of subtle sweetness, and left a warm homely aftertaste.

Now £8.5 for a sandwich is dear, however when one considers that a) everything is made from scratch and b) eating it has sustained me till dinner time, I would say the price is justified.

must try if you go down to bath city !! The chicken sandwich was delectable , fresh and favourable. Staff were very kind and patient. They have good a good selection in their menu. Has a tittle seating area outside which was handy. Also has a butcher in the shop. Great place !

We tried the rotisserie chicken and porchetta rolls - both were delicious but we’d rate the pork one higher. Great if you’re not very hungry as they’re not that big. A touch on the expensive side too at £8.50 each.

Popped in for a Rare Roast beef sandwich after spotting a crowd inside Green Street Butchers. Tender pink slices of roast beef on a bed of arugula/rocket and mayo-d bread. None of the faff, simple, very satisfying, and was taken back by how good the bread is! I shall be back for the porchetta!!

Hands down the best sando in Bath!

Green Street Butchers is home to an unparalleled sandwich selection that seems to be my go to whenever I’m fancying a pay day treat.

This time I went for their Roast Porchetta with Celeriac Remoulade, Salsa Verde & Dressed Rocket Leaves - all served in a freshly baked ciabatta bun. Their baked goods are also stunn!
