Have always found Finishing Touches Bathrooms in Hazel Grove to give excellent product advice and and benefitted from their friendly, supportive, bespoke service. Their Stonewood products are especially elegant and well crafted. We have been delighted with our purchases from them and their excellent after sales service over many years.

What a joke. Our bathroom was a 10 day job which took over 8 weeks as items were not delivered on time. During the inexplicable delays there was NO customer service at all. Calls were ignored, there was NO proactive effort to resolve any delays, and I felt like I was being lied to and fobbed off on numerous occasions.
We spent over £5,000 on our bahroom - I expected better treatment. I ordered my items and agreed with Wendy the date our old bathroom would be ripped out, so that the delivery date for our new bathoom pieces could be set. On the day the items were expected, nothing arrived. I called the shop to check on delivery to be advised that not all the items had been recieved by them, so they had not despatched my order. NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL ME THIS. I had already ripped out my old bathroom and secured 2 men on a day rate and they were waiting for these items. I had to pay them for the rest of the week and nothing could be done without the delivery. This did not come until over a week later. Even then, not all items were sent - and no offer of explanation or apology was given.
Finishing Touches obviously knew there was a delay on my delivery dates, why didn't call and advise? Instead, they did nothing and waited for me to call them!

One box of porcelain tiles had cearly been dropped as the tiles were smashed, and we were refused a refund as the box was opened and we had been in receipt of them for longer than 24 hours! REALLY? That was because we couldn't tile as they had not delivered one of our wall units, and the wrong fixings for the wall mounted tiolet, so no tiling could be done!
Most annoying for me was the lack of communication, which never improved over the whole 8 weeks of my frustrating dealings with Finishing Touches. we got appauling service, lies and ignorance. Time and again they showed total disregard for the customer. I cant imagine that anyone ever goes bck as a repeat custome. I will NEVER shop at Finishing Touches again and recommend that you also shop elsewhere.

Zero customer service. Expensive Duravit toilet I bought from here 8 years ago broken several times. Wendy thinks that's ok, I've had good use out of it. I disagree but we'll let that pass. No one deals with Duravit except here. And ebay. Should have just gone there in the first place. Now I know why. Latest issue is a simple toilet seat, broken. Simple replacement? No. Only this stupid make will fit this pathetic excuse for a toilet. It's £113 just for a seat. Shocking price, but should be a good service, the price certainly doesn't refer to the product..Must be paying over the odds for something? Wendy told me this would take one week and took a deposit. Booked a plumber a week later. Didn't arrive. Had no call to say it wouldn't arrive. Cancelled plumber. Told it would now arrive within 2 to 3 weeks of original order date. Ok. Inconvenient but only another 10 days max. No seat. It will just be another week...... We'll call you. Groundhog day begins. Etc, etc, etc,etc. It's now 8 weeks later. Phoned the shop twice today, as they will never call you. I'm busy with a customer, I'll call you right back. 3 hours later no call. I called again. Oh, I've been busy with a customer all day ( not this customer you haven't) I'll phone the warehouse and call you right back straight away. Then Wendy shut the shop and went home. This madness must end. If this seat was mandatory, free, and arrived by unicorn tomorrow I would no longer want it. Full of lies, deciet, and honestly not worth dealing with in any way, shape or form.
Update: after once again having nil promised callbacks and another promised delivery date more than two weeks into the future, which Im now more than certain will end in as much disappointment as all the previous promised delivery dates I cancelled this 7 week old order. I ordered a similar different make seat from eBay upon cancelling this, late Wednesday morning and it arrived late Friday afternoon. Fits like a glove and was not only delivered at normal 21st century speeds right to my door it only cost £12.95 with free delivery instead of the £113 mythical seat made out of golden unicorn breath, so special and rare it will never arrive. Any seat of this dimension will fit. Totally opposite the info this shop gives which is that you can only buy from their "emporers new clothes" type suppliers and only through them. It's just not true. Do not condone this terrible level of service and inflated pricing by giving this company your time, trust and money. That's my advice
