Due to have something delivered was told Saturday between 11-12 never arrived and I got a text message saying that the parcel had been delivered at 9.10am and my surname which I never use when signing for anything and I thought they took pictures but obviously not one to be seen I wonder why. I think DHL need to seriously weed out the bad drivers. If the driver can’t be bothered then you won’t get your delivery.

I don’t normally bother writing negative reviews but the service I’ve received from this depot and wider DHL customer services has been so truly abysmal I’ve felt moved to. Similar story to all the other shockers other reviewers have left. I’m honestly at a loss at how badly this place is allowed to run, or that any business chooses to use them as a supplier given how horrible an experience they clearly offer many people in the area.

I ordered a desk for ‘next day delivery’ back in November. It ended up finally arriving in late December, in three separate deliveries for no apparent reason.

Communication was terrible, with multiple instances of being told it was out for delivery or being delivered the next day which turned out to be untrue, online updates often stated it was due to be delivered in the past, no calling card ever left as promised or option to choose a time or date that worked for me. I emailed and called DHL customer services twice in this time to try to get some clarity about when I was going to get this delivery. Despite a promise for a next day response, the emails were ignored and the people i spoke to on the phone were polite but useless, telling me they’d call me back with an update that never came and refusing to give me any contact details or reference number so I could follow up with them.

When my items eventually arrived, some of the boxes arrived battered and water damaged, with multiple bits of the contents inside badly damaged also.

To top it all off, one of the delivery drivers I had the misfortune of meeting was incredibly rude and hostile.

All in all the most shockingly bad delivery experience I’ve ever had, I’ll go out of my way to check what logistics companies are used when I purchase online in future to avoid ever having to deal with this depot again.

what an awful delivery service. In this modern day of delivery options. DHL are not good. I ordered a product on Monday. It is due to be delivered on Thursday. I am not going to be in. There is not option to have it delivered to a local pick up point in my area. Even though there are two places available. Very poor service.

My parcel was picked up on the 31st December and I'm still waiting. Spoke to customer services on Saturday was assured it would be with me Monday, still not arrived and cannot get through to speak to anyone on the phone just told its being loaded every day!

I thought it was just me being unlucky receiving my item, then just reading the reviews I've had the same treatment as others. I received tracking info, my parcel didn't arrive. Day 2 the same, day 3 nothing. I contacted the item sender who then contacted DHL to be told/promised it would arrive Saturday. Again nothing, just an email the driver could not access my address and another on the tracking said the senders address information was incorrect.......I'm still waiting....

Poor service. My friend has waited in all day for his parcel and it has not been delivered ONCE. They have said that delivery was attempted at 12pm when according to their tracking map which he was continuously checking it said he was 70th drop and the driver was only at drop 28. He has CCTV which can prove that no driver turned up

I thought Evri was bad but this takes the absolute biscuit. Terrible service.

Honestly I've never known such a trash delivery service.
The subcontractors that deliver in their own cars are better than you lot.

2X failed collections 2/2 times rebooked. No email/ no correspondence/ no contact to speak to just AIs and bots/ emails that no one responds to.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves, you don't deserve to be under DHL's company name - you're bringing that service into disrepute

Absolute diaboical, 3 days waiting for my urgent package, 2 days running they have not acknowledged me. Just say it is posted again be with you today. Due 3 days ago still not here. Then when i phone i can not speak with anyone now! The company should be ashamed, people assume Dhl are trustworthy. I dont like having to say this but they are blatent liars, unprofessional
Also bad management, and unreliable!!
The management structure is failing customers and the dhl name.
So disgusted with the lies and getting let down. Dhl is obviousley in trouble and that would not surprise given their behavior.
