Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to these Barns, and well worth a visit. If you want a special gift or a treat, fancy a look for an antique, a lovely home made meal or a super cake, this is the place for you. Just finished the haddock and chips. I have to say this was by far the best we have eaten, ever. The batter was so light and tasty. The food was hot and the chips are cooked fresh. A very good portion size too. Well done to the chef and friendly staff 👏👏

A wonderful eccentric place. A collection of rooms offering antiques and household nic nacs, plus bistro. Set in the countryside surrounded by fields there plenty of tables outside. It must be very nice in the summer. Inside has a cozy atmosphere with plenty of space as needed at the moment. Food is good with a good variety. Plus great drinks range

Got there for 10.15 for a Sunday breakfast and was already busy. They seem to prefer you to book for the cafe. So had to wait outside for about 15 minutes and then she squeezed us in. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good menu and nice homewards shopping afterwards

Had light breakfast here with our car club over 40 of us , pot of tea large bacon and egg sandwich £9. bit of deal for our club . Great drive from chelmsford 👍🍽😊

I liked this out of the way cafe & shop. Cafe staff were lovely, friendly & knowledgeable about their menu. I tried an item I'd never heard of 'eggy crumpets with smoked bacon' and I was very pleased with my choice. The shop was an aladdin's cave of beautiful items, and I had to hold on my purse tightly! I'm definitely going to visit again soon, other items on the menu to discover.
