Absolutely lovely people to deal with. Ewa and her colleague helped me out as I had smashed some shades, they sourced replacements at a reasonable cost and even opened the shop on a day it was closed as I was in the area. Many thanks - superb customer service

Lovely store and helpful friendly staff, we'd looked all over Banbury for bulbs that are no longer available, despite the lights still available to buy!! We were told to try dar lighting factory shop by a helpful staff member in another store, amazing the store is still open, being local I've known of it all my life, but had forgotten it, well done dar lighting for having what we needed when nowhere else in Banbury did, and for remaining open in these troubling times of limited stores and choice of products, lovely products and great to browse with knowledgeable staff, and no push and shoving like other larger stores, wishing you many more decades of success.

Supplier states external lights are not suitable for coastal environments which covers quite a bit of the UK, and also if fitted on a corrosive background (so that includes Dulux Weathershield and any finish with lime ie all cement based products) then the finish will deteriorate within 2 years. Beware!

I spent over £900 with a company who is effectively a middle man to dar lighting as dar lighting supplied and delivered the lights and are managing the after sale service hence my review. manufacturing purchased 2 x Laura Ashley chandeliers and 4 x Laura Ashley wall lights.
They are arrived in time but all 6 items had some sort of damage. None of the boxes were damaged so this clearly happened during the manufacturing or packaging stage. One wall light was smashed and the other three wall lights were covered in scratches. Both chandeliers covered in scratches and one had missing bits to it and all the little pieces were bent.

Now I understand that so far dar lighting aren’t at fault but how they have dealt with things is shocking! They are refusing to take back the damaged items and have asked me to fit them and they will send replacement glass pieces, which would mean changing about 100 pieces per light. Absolute ridiculous!! They are telling me to keep the items and change the scratched glass pieces or they can take them back for a 25% restocking fee. Take your money elsewhere!!

Broad range of stock to suit many tastes, helpful staff and good value, BUT website opening times are INACCURATE. I checked the website today as I was travelling some distance to catch the last day of their sale and on my arrival I found the shop CLOSED. Arrived at 5:15pm & advertised closing time was 5:30pm.

Purchased 3 floor lamps with LED spotlight. Proved perfect as a reading lamp and excellent service from the Banbury store. Ready to collect when I arrived and really easy to deal with
