The staff at Chimney are just incredible. Very accommodating, very warm and definitely experts in everything menswear! Sharon and Alexa and the rest of the staff are such amazing people and they made our groom party feel so at ease and confident. Not only that, they were so helpful when it came to choosing the best suits to match the ladies plus the overall vibe of our wedding back in June 2024. Additionally, there were questions that we cannot come up with answers to but they were able to deliver the perfect solution (i.e choosing a bow tie for the best man that will distinguish him from the rest of the groom party). It’s nuances like this that made us feel that we came to the right place to choose the suits! And we have always loved the trips to the boutique, such a warm and pleasing shop! I cannot express how happy I was to find Chimney Formal Menswear after a couple of months of searching for just the right look for our wedding. It was so refreshing to find a small business that offered something different to what these days seems to be the customary blue suit. Sharon and the team at Chimney Formal Menswear helped us to create a unique and stylish look for my husband, his groomsmen and our fathers. We had so many positive comments about my husband’s wedding outfit (he did look very dashing) and how great it looked together with his groomsmen wearing the inverse colours. One of the groomsmen was so impressed with his outfit that he is now planning his own wedding suit around what he wore at our wedding. Sharon and her team were a constant calm and reassuring presence in our wedding planning and we always felt very safe and guided by their able hands. We can’t recommend Chimney Formal Menswear highly enough and I know that this won’t be the last time that my husband buys a suit there.

From the moment I walked in, the warm welcome and personalised 1-1 service put me at ease. The team, especially Alexa and Sharon, were incredibly patient as I tried on a variety of suits, waistcoats, and accessories to find the perfect look. Chimney Formal Menswear was very accommodating allowing me to make an appointment on my schedule. I met with James who was very friendly and he went through various suits and styles. He was very good at gauging the styles that suited me. I felt very happy and confident in the choices James and I decided with my wife to be at the time. The tie and pocket piece were amazing and really helped me stand out. When I first entered I said I wanted to rent and at no point was I pressured to purchase. I fell in love with the suit and choices we made and I ended up purchasing the suit.

The suit required minor altering where Chimney recommended me a seamstress who did an amazing job. The suit overal was great quality and I have used it for multiple events already.

It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend to anyone wanting to rent or buy a suit.

I bought my wedding suit from Chimney Formal for my wedding in July this year, and also placed some hires. Doing business with them has been a total pleasure. They have a fantastic range to choose from and the store is so comfortable and inviting. At my appointment, Sharon provided such fantastic guidance as I explored my options for my suit. I had a rough idea of what I wanted which Sharon took on board and selected items to suit my tastes. She was very patient as I went back and forth, and the final result was so perfect! For our after sales support I worked with Amy. She took time and care to answer whatever questions I had. Picking up the purchased and hired items was very easy, as was returning the hired items after our wedding day.

Both Sharon and Amy represent the best kind of people to do business with. They both clearly care about the services they provide and are so personable in the process. I would absolutely recommend them of course!

I hired 5 suits for my wedding party from Chimney’s. Having had a few quotes from high street suppliers, what drew me to Chimney’s was the experience, quality of product and personal service; something I found the high street retailers lacked. What really made the difference for me was how accommodating they were with a last minute change in numbers for the groomsman fittings. Pricing was transparent and reasonable given the service level. On the day, the suits looked fantastic!

Absolutely brilliant experience hiring/buying my suits for my wedding a few months ago. Both Sharon and Alexa were extremely helpful and immediately put me at ease when helping to choose the suits. They have a large selection of suits and a great array of accessories such as ties, waistcoats etc, so you can rest assured you will be getting a much better product and far better service than any of the high street shops.
They went above and beyond to make sure I had all I needed for my special day and they were an absolute joy to deal with. Can't recommend them enough.
