Purchased a Rolex watch from them a few years ago whilst on holiday and would consider it to be well priced at the time and an asset that has continued to increase in value.
On a return visit this August (2024) I had 3 Tag Heuer watches in need of new batteries to be fitted. This was mainly as a result of them not having been worn after the purchase of the excellent Rolex watch. I was totally happy and confident in allowing them to send off the watches to have the batteries professionally fitted on my behalf and then onward posting the items to me by special delivery to my home address. This transaction was based on a trust I felt in Century Galleries.
No further items were purchased on this visit but I certainly hope to purchase again in the future. I would do this with a belief in items being fairly priced and a range of watches and jewellery that I consider to be exceptional by any standards compared to most jewellers we have visited in many towns & cities.

Some lovely watches here, my personal preference being a rather sturdy looking Rolex with diver style rotating bezel and a striking red second hand. Worth every penny of your hard-earned money. You don't really own watches like this, you just look after them.

Called for an overview of watch stock as they do not have a website and im not on social media and was greeted with we have everything. followed with an email requesting confirmation that before I travel that they had certain models advertised in store to view, what the prices were and if they come with all documents. sent a further 3 emails and didn't receive a reply to any. called again but no reply. Very strange way to run a business but they have certainly lost a potential buyer and ive since purchaed anorher Rolex for a local jeweller where I received a first class service

I have used Century Galleries for several years and bought a number of items from them as have friends. I have found their prices to be fair and the items of good quality. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Will use again and would unreservedly recommend them.

I left a heart charm bracelet here almost 2 years ago. I simply needed one new gold heart with a single name engraving on it and the other hearts repositioned to make room for the new one.
I collected my bracelet yesterday to find that none of the work had been completed. The new heart had not been attached, the origional hearts had not been repositioned, the new heart had not been engraved, it hadn't even been hallmarked or attached to the bracelet!
Early on the reason given for the delay was that the engraver had broken his arm, this was over 18 months ago!
Not once in nearly 2 years did they contact me to update me on the situation or lack of progress! Each time it was left to me to chase them to establish what was going on. I had no contact from them and not once did they say they couldn't do any of the work only that their engraver was the delay.
When I finally gave up on them and went into the shop to collect my bracelet it was as I had left it with them nearly two years previously. They hadn't even bothered to clean it.
None of the work had been done and no apology was given. I was just sold a loose heart in a bag.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the low level of service I have received from Century Galleries and would not recommend. I would consider them no more than a below average retail outlet and not a genuine profesional jewellers and would not recommend.
