Super friendly staff, I picked up an order of wood cladding and the staff already informed me they’d checked it and there were a lot of knot at the edge of the tongue and groove so found another packet and sorted through until they could make up a good pack. Super happy, other places just say it’s a natural material and to be expected. Also the man on the wood cutting is very knowledgeable and offered advice about our project

Fantastic customer service from the lady Deputy Manager this afternoon. Genius solution to a big paint colour discrepancy (£90 spend). Calm, courteous and above all kind, as not everyone finds it easy raising a complaint. Thanks also to Tim in the paint department.

As a visitor ro the UK this is my second visit to B&Q in Banbury. How this store survives beats me, total lack of staff, waiting 20 minutes on both occasions to get someone to help with getting Paint tinted.
Management wake up & staff the store appropriately.

Called in with my partner today with the intention.of purchasing around £40 worth of materials and tools. Walked in while my partner allowed our small dog to stretch his legs. However, despite previously being allowed to bring my fog in.and no signs outside to say otherwise on this occasion she was stopped. As it was I had already picked up one piece of the materials so proceeded to the tills. I asked for the manager "not in today". So I asked for whoever was... two team leaders were pointed out to me - Amy & Jess. I asked why my dog had been refused entry. "We don't allow dogs only guide dogs". That wasn't the case before, he's been in.many times and there's no sign to say otherwise "the old manager did allow dogs, but the new one doesn't... we need to get a sign" So it's a change of policy?! "No, we don't allow dogs". But if the old manager did and the new doesn't its a change of policy! "No, we'll get a sign". OK well I'll take my custom elsewhere.. (shrug of the shoulder from Jess), followed by ..

"Have a nice day".

This shows a pitiful respect for customers, that sarcastic remarks are acceptable from a senior ember of the staff. Disgraceful behaviour and lack lustre customer service. Good luck Banbury store, you're a dismal store with members of staff to reflect this.

Well, what can I say when I went into the store in Banbury and spoke to a girl called Megan who called herself a manager? It was a hysterical, she did not even have a clue what she was talking about and kept over talking you and speaking so bad
I bought a product back second time the product had a disease on it. She didn’t even know why I was talking about as I walked out the store to other people said to me we’ve bought compost with slugs in it and with other creatures in it we took some bark it was full of ants they sell imperfection products. I would rather go 20 miles out of town then deal with amateurs that haven’t got a clue what they’re talking about. Some of the people in the store are quite nice but it clearly shows that they’re now employing young managers that have not got a clue. Customer service goes well, not in this Town town is folding all it’s got is reject members of staff Don’t bother shopping In store it is a laughing joke

She told me you’ve had the item 2/3 weeks it’s not our problem Lovely customer service clearly tells you that they are selling you reject products You better off going to b&q Oxford or Milton Keynes, where the service is much better I will be complaining to head office about her attitude and her customer service Refused to give me her name and then refused for me to speak to another senior member of manage Amateur needs to go back to customer service school 🏫 lol
