No queue, hurrah! Half price coffee from attached M&S shop, hurrah! Price steep, however, but aren't they all now, bar Applegreen.

I drive 1200 miles per week on an electric car. If you want proper feedback you have to pay me! You have a lot of things to fix.

Whilst this was a successful charge, I planned my journey to ensure I would have a minimum time wait and get to the 150kw chargers as advertised. This charge peaked at 67kw. But was still charged the premium rate of 85pkw. On the back of energy prices having been reducing over the past 2 months. Just like the banks - quick to put the charges up but dragging their heels when it comes to returning discounts!!

The service provided by BP is a story of 2 half's. In order to charge my car the system is absurd. Why you cannot simply plug in and pay on demand like regular fuel is beyond imagination leading to unwieldy slow and confusing service. However the call centre help was very good although during the setup the power supply went out of service and meant I had to wait for the other unit became available. BP need to urgently address this service as it is currently hopeless.

The fact I did get a charge - good. The journey to get it working - the usual faff. Pulled in - machine was showing error. Must have reset, as I was about to pull out screen updated. Plugged in. Contactless didn’t work. Went to app on phone, said it needed an update. Did that. Pause to try and remember login details… Then it needed credit adding. Did that. Finally got charge started. Compare that to pulling into a petrol station. Sorry BP, far too much hassle.

I have been charged twice. and for different amounts. I only charged my car enough to get home, probaly 6 to 8kw. yet they deducted £8.42 and also £44.00.
The charging facility worked well and was at good spped. But I dont like being over charged. My biggest charging bill prior to this was £23. so to be hit for £52.42 is rediculous. There must a be an issue with the billing function.

Problem with app and membership cards it does work sometimes and sometimes charging point screen not working. Should be much more earlier like other company charging points

Both charge points were free so I managed to connect with no delay but the output was 37kw to 41 kw maximum for my entire stay and this is supposed to be a 150kw charge point. Stayed for an hour and only received half the charge I’d expected which I feel is unacceptable as BP charge a premium for ‘fast’ charge points.
