I visited the store on the afternoon of June 19th and had a wonderful customer service experience with Shelly. She was so knowledgeable and patient with me while I deliberated and made my purchase. She also dealt with numerous situations for the shop while I was there and seemed so graceful about it all. Thanks Shelly- I’ll definitely be signing up for some cooking classes!

As a returning paying customer, I am extremely disappointed with the service and inflexibility of Borough Kitchen Cooking School Islington.

I had been given a £50 voucher and paid an additional £75 of my own money to attend a cooking class, however I was diagnosed with glandular fever on the day.

Borough did not answer my calls when I tried to contact them and naturally, I could not attend a cooking class with a highly contagious illness.

I sent an email explaining the diagnosis however Borough has refused to allow me to reschedule the class to a future date.

I understand a late cancellation fee might apply, but to charge 100% of the class value where an attendee becomes ill within 5 days (!) Of the class is simply unacceptable and in fact constitutes theft.

To not allow me to even put my gift card towards another date, and to withhold £125 for supplies not used is quite unconscionable.

I warn anyone considering booking to look elsewhere at another of the many fantastic cooking schools in London who are not seeking to extort their customers.

I had a faulty pasta machine that was gifted just under a year ago. Rang the customer service and they sorted me out immediately with a new replacement. Big shout out to Nathan and the Angel shop team. Absolutely speedy and hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced

I had ordered an item from Borough Kitchen back in October. I am in Canada and I was happily surprised when I tracked my parcel and saw that it had arrived in Canada very quickly. That's when things went a bit sideways. Long story short the courier, DHL/Loomis managed to lose the package. Borough was very good, following up with their courier on there side. Eventually DHL/Loomis deemed the package stolen (most likely) or lost. Borough Kitchen was good with communication and did provide a full refund. All in all a good company to deal with.

This is a review for their cooking class.
We went to the Applied Knife Techniques cooking class as complete beginners and really enjoyed the entire evening.
The chef, Panos, was really friendly and patient. The food at the end was really tasty and participating to the process was a nice experience.

Fast, efficient service. Brought my Staffordshire Bull Terrier and they were very kind to him. Brought a Samuel Groves Saute Casserole Tri-Ply Stainless Steel pan. Cheaper than the manufacturer's website. Had lots of useful kitchen gadgets and a wide range. Better than Divertimenti.

Fantastic shop with great products. Very knowledgeable staff, I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me with a pan purchase, she said she was a pastry chef if that's a clue; very helpful and top marks to her.
