We used Blue Design Kitchens to carry out a major renovation of our kitchen in 2023. This involved removal of an internal wall and installation of a brand new kitchen. We are absolutely delighted with the end result.

We cannot recommend Steve highly enough. His proposed design perfectly utilised the space we had. Steve spent a lot of time consulting with us to ensure he fully understand what we were trying to achieve (in our case, a need for more storage!) Steve has extensive experience in kitchen design and knows what will work and what won’t: he offered invaluable and practical guidance whilst still making us feel like we were in control of the overall design. He patiently put up with our endless questions and changes of mind and was always happy to incorporate tweaks into the design when requested.

During the build, Steve was very hands on and project managed every stage ensuring the various tradesmen arrived when required and he oversaw any delays when the inevitable unexpected issues arose. He was at our property almost every day keeping a watchful eye on proceedings.
Above all, Steve is incredibly accessible; he always answered his phone (even out of hours!) and is very sympathetic to the stress that goes with any major renovation. The quality of the products he uses are second to none; solid, well built and durable.

We are thrilled with our new kitchen, it has made a massive difference to our lifestyle as a family and we are indebted to Steve for all he has done for us.

The best thing I can say about Steve is that he properly project manages the build and takes full responsibility for everything that goes on. That was utterly invaluable to us. On top of that, Steve is just a genuinely decent bloke, a pleasure to have in our house and by the end, he felt like more of a family friend than our kitchen man!

If you want an expert to redesign your kitchen, ask Steve, you will not be disappointed.

Blue design kitchens via Steve and his team were super at overcoming issues/challenges (as every install will have) at every stage from design to installation and finally, sign off for our new kitchen. The quality and process is really good and they take a lot of stress out of the process. Steve is really good to work and listen to your requirements/needs. Highly recommended

We selected Blue Design Kitchens to design and install our first kitchen in 2012. We were so pleased with the result we didn't hesitate to use them again when we had our house extended in 2022.

Steve has an excellent eye for detail and provided a design that has made the best use of the space, as well as providing several recommendations that we had not considered. Throughout the process he was professional and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. The kitchen quality is excellent and the installation (by Tomas) is to a very high standard.

I don’t do reviews very often, but with Blue Design Kitchens, I felt that Steve and his team went above and beyond to design and install a wonderful kitchen and living space for us. This involved opening out our existing kitchen into an adjacent room and Steve’s design for the extended room was faultless. Having lived in our new found space for a while now, we wouldn’t change anything. Steve’s team of tradesmen were all exemplary and what particularly stands out to me is the continued support we get from Steve and his team. For me it definitely pays to use locally run independent businesses above the big corporates, and Blue Design Kitchens is a fine example of this.

We would like to say how really pleased we are with our new kitchen, we love it! A big thank you to Steve and his team for doing an absolutely amazing job. Steve managed the whole process extremely well so there were no delays in the refit process. Nothing was a problem to sort out, including getting a special tap in for us to meet the plumber's deadline. All of the tradesmen used were nice, friendly and tidy. Steve also co-ordinated with other trades, including Just Quality Flooring of Hook, who have also done a fantastic job.
Steve gave us plenty of advice before and during the process, about maximising the space and getting the best from our chosen fittings while still managing our budget. He was happy to talk about all the options for colour schemes to make a dark room look much brighter (which has totally transformed our very dated and tired-looking kitchen in to something truly modern).

A beautiful kitchen and a first-class service provided by Steve - he is a true professional and came up with some great suggestions. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the whole process was made so easy as Steve and the team were reliable, efficient, tidy, always friendly and polite. Our kitchen is stunning and an absolute pleasure to use. Can't recommend Blue Design Kitchens highly enough.

It's fair to say that Steve and his team transformed the kitchen area in our home. I found everyone to be polite, punctual and professional. They offered good advice and the workmanship (including some building work) is first class. I had no problems contacting them even when some 'snagging' was required after the final payment had been made and we have all the improvements we asked for. I can (and will) highly recommend them.
