I had a delightful time at the Lambeth Decorating Class with Birch House Bakery. Erin was so welcoming and knowledgeable, making the whole experience enjoyable and easy to follow. Erin’s cake for our wedding in June was simply sensational. We had initially thought about not having a wedding cake, but then we had a taste of Erin’s work at a supplier event and knew immediately we had to have her create something for our big day.
The Spiced Ginger and White Chocolate flavours were so delicious and were a hit with all our guests, while the whole design was superb.
Throughout the process, Erin was a joy to work with, communicated designs really well and the final product was better than we ever expected.

Erin is a true artist, and her cakes reflect that not just in their design, but also in their flavours. Erin designed and made our wedding cake, which was so unique to anything we had seen before.

We had a detailed call where Erin took the time to understand our requirements and our vision, and was able to guide us regarding our cake choice. She was also very understanding when we changed the design after our initial call, and delivered the perfect cake.

We picked two flavours, which were both delicious, and got several compliments on the original design of the cake.

After attending one of the macaron classes last year and loving it, I booked a one to one class to learn how to fill and ice a Lambeth cake. The class was 10am to 3pm and included refreshments and a delicious lunch!
Throughout the day we covered making swiss meringue buttercream and stacking and crumb coating a cake before finally moving on to finishing and piping.
Erin is an absolute expert in her field yet so friendly and approachable. I had the best day and learnt so much! And I left with a beautiful cake, recipes and the confidence to try out myself at home! I cannot recommend highly enough!

It was such a pleasure to work with Erin on our beautiful wedding cake. She was super helpful and professional from the get-go which put us at ease. She made the process super easy and enjoyable, and our cake was beyond what we could have hoped for! We served it as dessert and the feedback from guests was very complimentary – aside from a small chunk in our freezer, it all disappeared!

The dreamiest wedding cake. Picking the flavours is the hardest part! Erin sent us a taster box and it took us days to whittle it down, we wish we had more guests to get a tier in every flavour.

We opted for lemon and elderflower and raspberry, white chocolate and thyme. Everyone loved it, there was no piece left!
