We could not fault our experience of using Barleywood for our kitchen project.

From our very first contact to the handover of our stunning new kitchen, we were blown away by their staff and products. Everyone we came into contact with was experienced and highly skilled, offering great advice and creative ideas. The design team seemed to know exactly what we were imagining and seamlessly turned it into a reality, carefully listening to our thoughts and responding to meet both our needs and our budget.

The process of working with Barleywood was smooth and stress-free and came in exactly on time and within budget.

We were particularly impressed with the quality of the kitchen units and were blown away by the expertise of the kitchen fitter - his attention to detail meant that our kitchen is faultless and far exceeded our expectations.

We had explored many other kitchen companies, including the usual high street options, and are absolutely convinced that we did the right thing going with Barleywood. We would whole heartedly recommend them!

We had already planned our kitchen before our first meeting but there was an attention to detail that gave us the finishing touches we were seeking. Hayley thought creatively to step through the final decisions and it was no problem when we wanted to add a few elements purchased elsewhere to the kitchen.

Communication was clear, professional and responsive throughout.

The quality of the kitchen speaks for itself; it has an elegant and simple sophistication that we didn’t quite find on the high street. The price point also felt very competitive.

Mark’s attention to detail during fitting was SUPERB and we cannot fault his craftsmanship. He thinks steps ahead and will find a solution that champions the final aesthetic.

This is also not a team that wipe their hands after the final bill is settled - we have had a number of aftercare visits to tweak small details; some of which we hadn’t noticed. It would have been easy for Barleywood to ignore but they have pride in their product and every small blemish has been attended to.

Overall, we had an extremely positive experience with Barleywood and are immensely thankful to have such a beautiful kitchen.

Having had the refurbished kitchen for nearly 7 months to live and work in, may I say how satisfied my wife and I are with finished article. We asked the company to incorporate the layout of the existing kitchen, largely because we wanted to keep the granite worktops. We appreciated that this wasn't going to be the easiest of jobs for Barleywood to undertake, however Grace assured us that this would be possible. Grace was most thorough in planning the whole exercise and liaising with us regarding any issues that inevitably arose. The timings of the work that she outlined were spot on and consequently we were able to plan having a new boiler fitted in the utility room immediately after Barleywood had finished the kitchen. Behind every successful company are a reliable workforce and both them and partners Inspired Worx, were largely faultless. However it would be inappropriate not to mention Mark who as leader was totally committed to the project and sought our views on any issues of the work regarding our preferences. I would totally recommend Barleywood should you be thinking of any kitchen improvements. Photos of the kitchen before and after were taken at the time by Grace etc.

Barleywood Kitchens working with Inspiredworx have created the kitchen of my dreams. They have worked closely with me and each other using amazing craftsmen to build the kitchen I have always wanted. They have created a beautiful space to cook and socialise with everything where I want it.

We went along to the open day to take a look, and were so inspired that we signed up there and then to get a design and measure. Rich was superb in helping us choose what we wanted in our kitchen, never minding the changes we made as we increased the scope of the project to include our utility room as well. He guided us to ensure we not only designed a great looking kitchen but one that functions for our needs.
The team came to fit our flooring as well as the units - the staff were amazing crafts people who really understood how to work with the product well.
The company they use for the quartz worktop are also outstanding with their service and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finish.
I’d like to thank Rich, Joe, Mark, Elliot and Chris for all their design and build work.
A big surprise at the end was the stunning hamper of goodies which they delivered to us!

The biggest, warmest, heartfelt thank you to Inspired Worx and Barleywood kitchens. What a dream team - I don’t really know where to start to express our gratitude for the amazing, beautiful transformation of our home. Our truly beautiful kitchen and lounge warms our hearts every time we walk into them.

The whole joined up team have been beyond amazing and professional. From the very start when Josh, Grace & Hayley first visited us to discuss our wishes and plans to the unbelievable end result, we have experienced nothing but 100% care and professionalism.
Grace, Hayley & Helen have relentlessly handled with patience my endless questions, doubts & decision changes, Mark the fitter was understanding and so helpful after I decided at 3am the island was too big - by the end of the day it had been reduced in size.

There have been so many people involved in our project and in and out of our home from plumbers, Lee, the fantastic and very humorous electrician, bricklayers, window fitters, tiler to Max, the brilliant, perfectionist decorator to Chloe, the latest, friendly and professional new recruit.

I work from home and was initially concerned about how I would manage my clients confidentiality and privacy with the noise & presence of so many - all, I can say is that every single work person has bent over backwards to help me out.

Chris has been a calming & reassuring professional and friendly project manager from start to finish. Always on hand to answer any worries or concerns so promptly.

And now to our main man who has been with almost us daily for the last 4 months. Arek has been truly exceptional in every sense from his dedicated work to his willingness to help in any way and to offer his guidance and opinions when asked. Arek is the most exceptional, amazingly talented craftsperson and builder. His ideas and renovation to our rather boring modern looking beams has been amazing. He has a great sense of humour and wonderful calm presence when met with my indecisive wobbles and requests.
Rather than feeling “ I wish these builders would now get out our house”, I feel like he is part of our family.

Thank you 🙏 from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you. The end result is beyond our dreams and the whole process throughout has been seamlessly positive.
