What a complete and utterly (can't say what I'd like to say).... the post office should seriously consider closing this store.... the person who runs it is a jobs worth... twice in 2 days now to try and collect a package. Yesterday the wife was turned away due to no ID for me, there's nothing on the slip (dpd) that states ID required. She had ID which matched the address and surname... then today, I leave the office early to collect. Arrive to find the person locking up, explained the web site states 17:45 - the response 'I've been telling them since Convid to change it'... what a jobs worth... never again - we've experienced issues with this person for years and now done !! Will email the company that provided the package that it will not be collected and they can retrieve it.

I felt compelled to comment after reading the numerous negative reviews. I've only used this Post Office twice, once to pick up a form that he didn't have, and to pick up a parcel. Admittedly the shop is light on stock, but on both occasions I received friendly service from the postmaster.

The man that runs this place is a very odd chap, has nothing in his shop, always complains - its like why do something if your no good at it! worst shop in Britain! If anything you should go there for novelty value - only works if the old man is there - he really is a piece of work! check out the empty shelves and wonder why he is even still in business!

Tried to collect a DPD parcel, had two forms of ID all the parcel details etc however the man (possibly owner) refused to release the parcel. Contacted DPD who advised me to go back to the shop and they would call and speak to them. However the shop was closed, as they advertise the wrong opening hours!. The man is rude, unhelpful and clearly does not know how to do he's job. I now have to wait for DPD to resolve this issue. DO NOT even bother with this place they are absolutely useless!!

Alot of the reviews are people being angry for the guy doing his job, give him a break! He's a good chap and all of these bad reviews are people bad mad for him doing his job.

Multiple experiences of disappointment
Two days ago I went to drop register post 1642hrs. The response by the owner of this business was the till is shut , system is closed down . So I had to go Mulberry close stotfold to drop my service. Very unpleasant customer service to whoever we ask about this post office. Does this owner serve the community? Could this business not be run smoothly by another company? .

Useless post office. Only open for a few hours daily. Have been attempting to collect a dpd parcel all week and have had no luck.its a waste of prime real estate in a time where housing is a huge issue

If I could give zero I would.
Not sure if this point is from him or not but reality is places like dpd that use him as collect point all have the wrong opening hours.
Sent my partner with same address on his ID with my QR code to pick my parcel, also to mention it was the last day and would go back to the sender, and he still didn’t allow him to pick my parcel up and sent it back! Now the merchant in question had to issue another parcel all because of the rudeness of this person running the shop. Didn’t want to post this since my last experience wasn’t pleasant either but now I can see going to this shop is signing up to be given the worst customer service on earth.
