Lou did an amazing job with alterations to my wedding dress and also my bridesmaids dresses too. Nothing was too much hassle for her and the fit was perfect after my visit to see her. She was so bubbly and friendly and it really puts you at ease and she even steamed the dress for me and advised me on how to store it until the big day! I took a pair of Diesel Jeans to be shortened as my legs are always too short. Lou did an amazing job with them and it was quick too. Now they fit properly so they are no longer gathering dust in a drawer. 5 star service. What a great local business to support (and the candles are fab too).

Lou did an amazing job with very short notice! I bought a vintage motorcyle jacket and Lou made a custom made pocket on the back so I could fit a modern motorcycle back protector. Really nice finish with a little velcro flap so the protector can be taken out if necessary. Came into the shop on a Friday late morning without previous notice, and she had it ready by the evening. Really impressed! Will be using her again! Many thanks Lou!!! 🙂

What a hidden gem

Walk through the cafe, as you get to the art shop doorway, turn right and go downstairs...

Highly recommend seeking out this wonderful place. Colourful, sparkling and unique - all types of clothing available, for adults & children in a range of sizes. If adaptations are needed have a chat I'm sure Lou will be excited to help.
There are lots of other trinkets and gifts too.
Looking forward to my next visit.

I was so lucky to have been recommended for Louise to make my wedding dress for me. Her knowledge and expertise in choosing the right fabric and colour for me based on what I wanted was a breeze. Louise definitely got the brief and she absolutely nailed it. It was brilliant to have a dress fit me perfectly and that no one else has. I wanted a dress to wear to my friends wedding but I struggle to find designs and styles I like. So I knew who to ask..

Lou and I both love bold prints so we had a great time looking at different fabrics. Lou, of course came up with the perfect ones.

The fittings were easy and so much fun.

I also got the opportunity to look at all the lovely items for sale in the shop and no, I couldn’t resist purchasing a few things.

Lou knew exactly what would work and the end result was amazing.

Fantastic! I had a dress with a faulty zip which was also on the tight side- within 24 hours I had a new zip and the dress fit! It was taken out beautifully and was exactly as I’d hoped! Highly recommend!
