Wanted to replace an MFI kitchen from the 1990's which was very tired. The kitchen is 7m long but only 3m wide and has immovable items, ie plumbing for sink, appliances and the central heating boiler. Needed ideas that fitted around these. Went to the usual suspects for designs and quotes, and also Karl Benz (pass it often) for contrast. The usual suspects didn't really have any ideas of their own and took the lead from us. One of them applied pressure to sign up to them before it was reasonable for us to settle on anything.

Karl Benz took the trouble to come out and take a look. They went away and did a first design with little input from us. This was refreshing, and the design something we hadn't thought of. After consideration we decided we didn't want that, but it formed the basis for several further revisions before a plan was settled upon. Only then did we sign up as it was the logical next step.

Fitting was easily timed to suit our needs and was professionally carried by pleasant and courteous staff with frequent visits from the design team at Karl Benz. The furniture is a definite improvement on MFI and the offerings of the usual suspects. We are very pleased with the resulting kitchen which has served us well thus far.

The team at Karl Benz have done an excellent job for us and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Our kitchen looks amazing! Really impressed by the quality of care and product that we have received. From our initial design appointment with James, to the final masterpiece...Really thrilled. James designed a kitchen which we did not believe possible! His constant guidance through the entire journey was faultless. The Service and Attention to Detail from Nick Gill and his Team at Karl Benz, from the initial enquiry (acknowledged on a Sunday by Nick), the designing of the kitchen within our new extension along with numerous visits to the Showroom, never rushed, always made to feel welcome, right up to Jason and Graham the fitters has been absolutely Outstanding... nothing has been to much trouble for them!
Everything arrived on time and when we realised we needed a few more items they were ordered immediately from Germany and arrived promptly- we never had to chase anything with Karl Benz, they were always on the front foot.
Having run retail businesses myself , my Partner and my standards were high and the Team at Karl Benz have exceeded them in every respect. It is the people that make a difference and Nick Gill clearly sets that high standard within his business.
