38 St Giles was at one time a very grand house. It has an impressive staircase and high ceilings. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the market square. |The facilities in my room were good, comfy bed, smart TV, L'Occitane toileteries, tea and coffee making facilities along with fresh milk and cake offered on arrival. Breakfast is made to order and there was no issue with adjusting the dishes to suit my taste.|I stayed in the Cavell Room and attention to detail included a picture of the good nurse and a booklet about her. |The room is described as a cosy double and it is certainly small. It has what you need for a night's stay but there is no room for a desk or a wardrobe and barely any space for your own things especially not in the bathroom. It certainly would be cosy if there were two of you in the bed. The lower half of the windows are obscured which is fine when you are hardly in the room. No hanging space although hangers provided and there are hooks on the back of the door - again fine for a short stay.|Staff were friendly and attentive, including telephoning on the day to check my arrival time so that arrangements could be made as there isn't someone on site 24/7. I didn't like that the person serving breakfast repeatedly referred to me as 'dear' which made me feel ancient!|Overall a relaxing experience.

We booked this for our anniversary, first class accommodation, on arrival, there was a card from the hotel, for our anniversary with lovely fresh cakes in your room. The room was stunning. Beds very comfortable with a large TV. A small cloakroom with kettle and selection of teas, and a pod coffee machine, which was nice. Bathroom was very nice, and modern. Overall first class for the accommodation. |Breakfast was booked for 0900. It’s cooked to order which as soon as you get it, you can see it’s freshly cooked and very delicious. |The staff are very welcoming, and we met the owner whilst at breakfast. Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. I would fully recommend staying, as you are literally in the town centre, a minutes walk to the market square. I am already looking at booking again to stay over again, as have being spoilt, with what 38st Giles Boutique offers. Beautiful establishment. Well done team

Stayed for two nights. Super clean and relaxing with lovely quirky decor. Room very thoughtfully designed (lots of charging points, magnifying mirror, great shower etc). We were looked after very well by Danni whose full English breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever had

By far the best hotel in Norwich. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Graham to our lovely breakfast the next day, we were made to feel welcome. I went for the romance package, and it was well worth the additional money. I've attached a photo of the lovely display of roses and petals we found on the bed. My girlfriend was suitably impressed! Thank you!

I had originally booked a Christmas shopping trip with my daughter but I was ill and had to cancel at short notice. They were so kind and Graeme managed our rearranged booking and upgraded us to the amazing Gurney Suite. Lovely warm room so pretty and cozy. Nice toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers❤️. It is on a busy road and we did hear revellers on a Saturday night out. But we loved that !

What a gem of a hotel. Delightfully decorated and spotlessly clean, Very welcoming young lady to meet and greet us. Room was spotless and really comfortable (toasty warm )No noise in room from road or other guests. Breakfast was really good. Really nice feel to the place, will definitely return.

Amazing decor, well kept rooms, modern amenities, and great breakfast. The staff have wonderful communication and service. Little things like complimentary homemade cake / brownie each night and having outlets next to the bed make for a great experience.||Best hotel in Norwich by far (and I've been to many through several months of business travel).

We had a very comfortable stay at 38 St Giles. The hosts & staff were very welcoming and accommodating. |Our room was very comfortable, had a lovely boutique feel and everything that we needed. The location is great and we were able to walk around Norwich very easily. |Breakfast was very good and we would definitely consider staying here again.
