Here in Clifton, Nick Sykes was introduced to my wife and I in September 2023. We had been looking for a kitchen designer and builder who could give us the absolutely unique kitchen addressing all of our functional and modern contenporary design needs. The mission was to produce a highly functional and a truly unique and world class kitchen - a kitchen that made a statement and a center piece for the entire house. Interactively working with Nick and his team on the design, layout, color scheme and lighting plan proved very useful and we were impressed by Nick’s understanding of our needs and respectful of our own design elements that we wanted in the end product. The final design was amazing. The resulting craftsmanship and attention to the minute detail is extremely impressive and of the highest quality and we 100% got the kitchen and wine experience we both dreamed of. It really was a rewarding experience from beginning to end.

During the design period Nick and I worked together to create a design that fitted my personal expectations as a professional chef.

We worked together to create a “language” in the deisng, which was largely inspired by the setting of the house, the Ash Trees that grow naturally in my garden and the copper pipe work that was present in my Kitchen.

The end result is a well balanced mix of French farmhouse and Industrial design...

The kitchen incorporates bespoke copper pipe shelving, shaker cabinetry with bracket feet, Olive Ash cabinets, and 50mm thick Olive Ash worktops. The Copper pipe work, a hand forged copper tap, burnished copper handles and Ash cabinetry work together to create a harmonious balance between form and function.

Nick was patient and a good listener with practical and detailed feedback which made the whole process extremely creative and enjoyable

Installation was on time and the finished product was beautifully crafted and above my expectations
